Sorry I wrote Benry and Henry was meant to be Green and Henry lol.

Yea I think Green is worth it, given he'll start in the back row (not sure what happens when Buhrer comes back in a month or so). I don't know too much about him but I'm sure he did ok when he got a game last year for the dragons in the second row. So yep follow your initial thoughts. And I'd take Saifiti over Bhana but I'm not solid on this.

Thanks for your input, I'll probably sway towards green/benry for the dpp, hopefully they both get decent starts in their teams.

Thoughts on starting with tedesco and feeney over starting with 2 x300k players i.e. Ferguson and mansaur? Is it worth the risk, or are people playing it safe?

Basically gun and cow over 2 steady average style players, what are people's plans?

I too look like running the risk of Benry and Greeny, risky as hell and no good for the ticker but allows me to have CS9 and Seggy ( this could end badly before it even starts).

Who to Captain Smith or Parker ?

Would green be first choice for a backs role, wing probably, with turbo to fullback?

What a luxury, smith and Parker as a captain choice, toss of a coin maybe?

My current team bye planning gives me 9 available for round 12. but 13 for round 15  and 15 for round 18 (Assuming all my nuffies are still playing)

I am tempted to just about give up on 12, and concentrate on getting a good team together for the other rounds

Was really happy with my squad when I went to bed last night. Had a dream last night that Parker played 50 and McCullough played 80. Now I'm worried about the lack of Broncos/Eels in my squad. Only have Gordon playing tonight

    Morning guys.

Just a general comment. I think every team is going to have a weakness. I think most/all of us are trying to get that "perfect" 17/25, and it isnt really possible. You have to make sacrifices somewhere, so dont sweat it Smile

Also, dont forget to make any changes for Broncos/Eels players well before kick off tonight and maybe dont even touch your team tonight in case the site crashes like it has previously!

    Napa + Croker = 85 points? (45+40)

    Vs

    Woods + Copley (Would be starting centre) = 80 points? (50 + 30)

    Tempted for option 1.

Surely Woods scores more than 5 points more than Napa.
Not a fan of Copley, do you already have Green and/or Henry?

Any thoughts on Issac Liu getting more minutes over the first part of the year? Considering him as an FRF POD....did he play much at lock last year?

I think technically yes you can loophole like last year (rules looked the same). You can trade your captain for an NPR (NPR scores 0, captain not in your scoring 17 for that week) and then you got VC x2 + Auto emergency instead of Captain x2 + VC x1 .

Best used in bye rounds when you don't have a full squad and would get your captain original score as your AE score (if that makes sense).

I think if you trade your captain with a dedicated reserve within your playing 17 then you get no double points from anyone and just get C x 1 and VC x 1

its a bit of a risk unless you have 17 or less players where your captain is placed outside your nominated 17 players, but then becomes your AE anyway.

**Say in a full round your VC scores 100,even then its risky.

EG assume your VC scores 100 in the THursday game, normal captain is good for 60 pts and your AE gets say 15.

    VC 100 (x2) + AE (15) = 215
VC 100 + Captain (60) x2 = 220 so you could still go better without fucking with anything.
