I meant to have the C on DCE but somehow had it on Woods at 1st Lockout-my mistake. I will take a 50 from him to be honest after seeing the other Captain scores.Krump wrote:
It's a solid team. Lacking a genuine captain but both Parker and DCE have only hit 50 so your on track this week.
If Lichaa is gone for a bit and Cam plays 80 then I will probably do a straight trade there and have Cam as a stick and pick Captain moving forward.

The Kennel forum reckon one week for Lichaa. No sauce though. And apparently seemed to be moving well during the team song

Currenlty have Leuluai as FRF NPR. Keep him or JFH? Thoughts?
Edit: already have LAM as my dpp in FRF so not entrirely necessary to keep Leuluai for dpp purposes

Yeah True. But how much of run is each of them likely to get?

I guess if Lichaa is out for a few weeks or more and is replaced by cheapie Garvey, if I'm forced to make a trade anyway, why not trade out to Garvey and make some cash before trading up again?

What is a few weeks? 3 Weeks? That would be two trades in your HOK in 3 weeks then.

Yeah three weeks would be tricky, four or more maybe. I know it's two trades, but one I'm forced to make anyway, would make good cash, and you would think starting hooker the points wouldn't suffer too much?

This sounds like an awful idea.
Unless you want to run out of trades by round 18, never trade gun to cow to gun.

Graham almost ruined me last season because I held him for so long. Now it looks like the reversal is happening and my season start looks poor without him!

The main hope hinges on the 2 unknown-ish second rowers hitting 40-50 over the next fortnight.
Just on that. There seems to be more talk about Taia being a dud than an stand out. Now is that because of his awkward price more than his potential?
In regards to Taia I would say both. From memory he was a decent scorer when he last played in the NRL, maybe Gav Cooperish type scores???? But having gone away and now come back there is uncertainty about how he will adjust to the games. Add that into the fact no one rates the Titans this year so a perceived lack of attacking possibilities for him maybe. Then with his price he is not basement price that he is an obvious cash cow, nor is he expensively priced that should he struggle you can easily switch to the next firing gun. His price puts him in a similar category to those choosing the likes of Rochow, Whitehead, Ah Mau, Cartwright. All of them bar Whitehead have some previous stats/scoring potential to fall back on so choosing them you know what you can get/expect for the most part. Should Taia fail it is still a reasonable expense to trade him up to a gun so yes his awkward price along with uncertainty has put a few people off

Yeah just testing out a thought experiment (and I'm a noob), hopefully Lichaa's not too bad anyway.
