I have some ideas, don't know anything concrete though.

    * The starting edge will most likely be Sims and either Loiero or Katoa with the other one on the bench - I think Loiero is more likely to get the starting spot because he's done his time on the bench while Katoa is new, though I think eventually those two will start.

    * MacDonald probably won't get much more in the way of minutes, the bulk of the middle minutes will be eaten by Welch, NAS, Kamikamica and J King.

As for cash cows, the only one you'll really get is whichever one of Loiero and Katoa end up starting first.

My predicted forward pack is as follows:

    8. Welch (c)
    9. Grant
    10. NAS
    11. Sims
    12. Loiero
    13. J King
    14. Wishart
    15. Kamikamica
    16. Katoa
    17. MacDonald/Pene/Moeroa/Chan (there's a lot of guys who could take this spot)

What makes you convinced Sims plays edge, Would you give merit to him playing in middle?

Because Bellamy likes starting with experienced guys on the edge, and I doubt he'll throw Katoa right in unless he has a massive preseason.

That said I would personally prefer to have Sims in the middle and Katoa/Loiero on the edges (or even just give Chan or Howarth a run, but those two are further down the order from what I can tell)

I like Butcher a lot as a player, but assuming he'll continue that run of form is brave.

Ok fair point 👍 thanks for the insight 🤙

Sounds like an omen for the season.
Guess you'll just have to play, as clearly the signs are pointing to a win

Bit of WT info coming in. as it stands: talau + naden centres. Doueihi will be 5/8. Ofahengaue likely 13.

I really like the look of the tigers forward pack. There are a few Tigers I wouldn't mind getting in Round 20.

Any love for Mitch Kenny, or SLuke going to be taking too many minutes off him?

I'll take Talau as an NPR option in fantasy but can't abide Naden. Horrible player

I might too mate but as a pair you might end up with 39 points combined, 40 off Talau and -1 off Naden lol!

Finally a pack that might hold their own and we trot out that in the backline. No doubt there’ll be two wingers on the bench round one

Back to the good old days of the pure CTR single score roulette! Very Happy

Consensus here seems to be that for HOK 2, the best option is likely to be Tannah Boyd, if he gets the 7 jersey at a similar price point.

Reckon I would prefer Kenny if he's getting 60/65 mins

    Will be far more consistent

Crichton is leaving Panthers after this season (who knows, maybe earlier the way things have happened).

Not surprising the Panthers couldn't table an offer before they knew the new salary cap. A total balls up by NRL leaving it so late.

$750k-$800k is crazy money for Crichton. Decent player, but not worth anything like that at CTR and wouldn't be in the top 10 fullbacks in the NRL.
