I'm still tossing up between Haas as my premium gun at Middle, and running light at WFB, or starting with Teddy and running 3 sub-guns in the Middle and hoping they make coin and Haas sticks to 60 mins and isn't expected to pump out 70+ scores.

Still up in the air especially with Haas' mum's legal woes, not sure how this will affect his focus/mental state.
    Can't be easy for him.

Totally agree, I have seen signs of immaturity off-field from Haas in the past (he is young, not judging too much), but the drama might drag him down a bit I think.

But I will jump straight on if he crushes it because the Broncos are great to have early season. I have now brought in Carrigan, who I think might be this year's Murray and go into the mid 60s.

So my mids are Murray/Carrigan/Mid-cashie (Gilbert or similar), I am tempted not to start with BSmith unless he goes huge in the trials.

Expect Carrigan to elevate again this season. I'm hearing he will play closer to 80 most weeks as they want a consistent link man in that 13 role on the field. Structure fell apart too often last year and they want that fixed up. Haas flegler tauapu and jenson/hetho will rotate through the props. Haas wont be flogged like previous years, they want him back to his best in slightly shorter stints (55mins etc). Expect to see a bit more ball play from carrigan to his other big men through the middle. If Patty can take up the goalkicking he might be the new CP13

Made that all up but it sounds good. ill pick him i reckon, based on the above

Based on the mic’d up segment last year you’d want him on the field as long as possible - great leader

YouTube algorithm has spat out AKP and Valynce Te Ware QRL cup 2022 highlights for me in last two days, both look mustard at that level, see if they both get a chance

Thing to remember about YouTube highlights is 1) they're playing against lemons; 2) they're *highlights*

Davvy Moale looks amazing on lower grade highlights. Two parts Haas to two parts Difita to three parts an 18-year-old playing against infants (or Talakai against Harper). AKP does look absolutely lightning, but no idea about the rest of his game.

Question for you @rabbits21: had a quick look at Isaac Thompson because of dearth of cheap centre options... good YouTube highlights (see above, they are *high*lights), looks a big, powerful unit. But then I read that he's 26? I thought he was rookie just out of school. What's the story that he hasn't made it to first grade before now?

AKP scored 25 tries in 19 QCup games for an average of 32

Going to be much lower try scoring numbers for the Titans but still probably 7-8 points of value in a base price option. Will be buried deep in my 21 spot

Playing 60 minutes a season is less than 3 minutes per game. Not enough for me

And when Kelly comes back from suspension (R4)? Possibility/probability that Jojo Fifita moves back to wing?

You need to balance out the players in your squad with great hair with those who *could* have great hair if they changed to a different hairdresser, as well as a couple with no hair but the potential to grow some.

There is also this Treymain Spry guy floating about. Played 1st Grade before and some seem to be talking him up as a starting option if not at the start of the year, then at some stage

I'm picking him because I saw him take both his mum and his dog for a coffee last year.

Plus, based on driving past the Broncos last week and spotting them training out of the corner of my right eye, I can confirm that everything you said before about elevated minutes, playmaking 13 etc etc is 100% true.

I also can confirm that Reece Walsh will be the starting 9 and Corey Oates is having another crack on the edge....I was going quite fast.
