We had a few injuries/suspensions early last season didnt we? I think we'll be full strength to start this season (at this stage, obvs).

He'll be the same haas as always (55-60 ish in 60 mins) but i dont think he pushes enough huge scores to be worth it

*In before scores a try and 90 in first round

Im officialy ruling Haas OUT of my squad.

    More to come

Hetherington has bicep injury but rest of bench is fine

I am leaning more towards Haas for the safe captain replacement when Cleary has bye (in addition to mentioned factors of late bye, underpriced if he returns to pre AC joint form in 2022) - realistically Hynes/Murray/Haas/Cook are probably the safest captain replacements in R3

Not sure you'd want to captain a Burton/Doueihi/Fifita/even maybe Cotter etc early in season

Haas has got some personal life shit going on, it could have no impact or it could have some impact.

I reckon Haas will play around 61-62mins on avg the first 6 rounds. The Broncos are under pressure to get results. I reckon Haas can go at a ppm as well.

I have both Haas and Murray in my current side, figured I may as well just buy the best instead of bothering with lower tier guns like Tohu, Butcher, Carrigan etc.

Literally the only certainty in my team is (C)leary at this stage - the rest is up for debate.

I’ll be starting with mountain jaw also.
The only other locks for me is one who has seemed to get no love here and not much anywhere else either and that’s the dreamboat Mr HYNES!

Yearly average of 69 last year in the same team, in the same role, probably the least interrupted side in terms of player turnover also.
There was so many who didn’t jump on board in 21 with his limited time at FB at storm and got burned and there were some who didn’t see enough of that to start with him last year in 22, and got burned. And then of course the batshit crazy’s who traded him out last year and got destroyed…..
There seems to be a lot of people still doubting this hunks fantasy pedigree and apart from the fact that this year he costs heaps (being he finished the best player in fantasy) I’m struggling to understand the low ownership in comparison to McChinnychinchin.

I am convinced also, locked in Cleary(C) and Hyneican(VC) from day 1.

Yep, that's same for me across all formats. Other than those two, I'll wait until team lists before I lock a third player in as a certainty.

I have locked in 3 players so far, the two best halves and Murray. The rest of my team will be about making as much $ as I can. So I will run only 3-4 outright guns, still undecided on HarryG, but he is in for now.

Yeah, Murray would probably be third in line for me too. Harry Grant was in my team as a red dot from R1 last year. We had a solid friendship throughout the season... I'd consider it again. Just checked his price - could be quite the stretch.

I have major doubts over T Sloan. But we will all be shopping for cheap WFBs during the trials.

There is quite a plethora of cheap FB lining up potentially. 230-430k

Yeah currently my 17th man is a 250k option because of Harry, but I am praying one of the newbs gets an edge, otherwise I will likely switch to Robbo and buy a midrange cashie.

    Early days...

I have very mixed feelings about my man Haas this year, injuries and off-field dramas aside, the continued emergence of Carrigan I think represents better value.

That being said, I have neither Bronco to start, but can see having at least one of them by the home stretch (if I don't flake out like last season!)

Guns and cows looks highly viable this year. I've put together a few drafts where you can run 4/5 guns (+ likely sub-gun B Smith) to anchor your scoring which can compensate for a weak CTR/WFB

I'm still tossing up between Haas as my premium gun at Middle, and running light at WFB, or starting with Teddy and running 3 sub-guns in the Middle and hoping they make coin and Haas sticks to 60 mins and isn't expected to pump out 70+ scores.

Still up in the air especially with Haas' mum's legal woes, not sure how this will affect his focus/mental state.
    Can't be easy for him.
