Would it shock anyone if Mbye is starting 1 or 6 come round 2?

plenty of cheap wingers, centres, and fullbacks, but I prefer cheap halves, hookers, and 2nd rowers.

I just got the feeling Perham was on slightly shaky ground - that could be fan sentiment and not anything from the coaching staff.

Also in your favour. Ciraldo probably has the better job security of the 2 coaches, and is more likely to stick with a long term plan. Hook may feel th eneed to shake things up if the Dragons don't start well.

Neither fill me with supreme confidence, but suspect I'll run with at least 1 of them for price reasons.

Yep fan sentiment is definitely not great with Perham, my basis is off Ciraldo. he speaks glowingly of Perham regarding his skill, footwork and also his communication. He also has a relationship from when Perham was at the Panthers as a 16 year old and has rated him highly ever since. Think i heard he targeted him as soon as he was coach. He said Averillo is a centre and could push rep jerseys in that position so i think his main competition at the moment is burns.

I see Averillo slotting in there, may be wrong but just my take on it so Perham is a pass for me and can always nab him if he goes ok anyway.

Another guy just over $300k who might be worth a look is Junior Tupou. $319k at the tigers and a possibility of taking Maumalolo's wing spot.

Fantasy-wise perhaps not as much value as other options, but as a Tigers fan I'd be keen to see him given a chance

Ramsay has also been ruled out for the season due to illness.

Sounds pretty bad for Cody and I hope he's doing OK, but he's no threat to Sloan's position

For sure, I mean that Sloan doesn't have the position on lock. Someone like MBye could slot back there.
