Morning Pumpkin.  I think some blokes just have too much shit going on and not a spare dollar to be found.

No. Sideways to Graham to go Pauli Pauli to Carter

I was torn pre season Surgess v Graham now I'm looking at going back to 30 trades for the season over Paul Carter. Seems illogical right. Might just let Pauli Pauli enjoy his time at NPR for now. That big grub will be worth 128k in no time

So LAM to Carter gives me Souths' starting back row.

Yeah it doesn't sit well ST

I'll prob go something like Grant to Mataora to find the cash instead. Kicking myself on rolling lockout antics

Watched most of the games and anyone looking for a high priced POD, Bodene Thompson looked great. For a lower prices top performer A Paasi

Just sharing my view. I don't have the backrow urgency or need, but 2 that caught my eye and should translate it to fantasy points

That's probably better GM. I'm actually going to captain Surgess this week against Newcastle. I think he will get at least 70+ mins and have a big game.

So am I ST. It's probably an easier decision for me as I have Croker, with the other options being Pat Mata'utai and N.Davies.

Yeah unfortunately mate the Knights look leg less already. It's holding me back from my boy Mataora too even though he's not afraid of work. Don't hate that captain shout at all

    Morning butt!

Fair play, IMO if he continues playing big minutes in the 2RF I think he averages 35-40 no problem and worth downgrading one of the mid 300k mid rangers for, similar scores, banking $100,000 and he makes a $100,000 in a few weeks

    I'm seriously considering this

I want a second GUN hooker so this is the easiest way for me to generate the ~ $50,000 I need to upgrade Lichaa

Just managed to catch up on all the posts today. Jesus christ you boys churned through a fair bit.

After looking at the team lists I see Carter being a great pick up, depending on who you have to trade out to get him. Would I trade out an underperforming mid ranger? Probably not. Would I upgrade a cheapie? If I had the cash then definitely.

Struggling with my trades this week. Don't have enough to upgrade any cheapie to Carter except Gutherson (via DPP) but with Green on the bench, Henry injured and Auva'a not named yet I don't think I can run with an AE just yet.

Will trade out Lichaa but for who will solve my Carter dilemma. Trade for Garvey and I can bring Carter in for a cheapie (probably Henry). But I'm worried about the whole 1-3 months time period and can afford to bring in Peats or Macca (Macca would leave me with $0)

    Thoughts/advice?

Statistically I think Fifita turns into a beast and it has had no impact on Graham really. But with this being the year that Graham finally steps up to Origin level, as well as establishing himself as the future Sharks captain I am hoping it sees an increase in scores for him too.

I'm looking at Mataora as well but KSims at prop with Snowden moved to an extended bench just confuses me. Was he really that bad? How secure is Mataora? How much changes with Tariq and Pauli Pauli back?

Edit: I should clarify, KSims at prop isn't whats confusing me but more that Snowden wasn't and that if he was I assume Mataora is the one that would make way with Sims staying put? I really wish I had watched that Knights game :S

Have gone Seggy > Walker via Niki
    Lichaa > Smith

Leaves me with 213k to spend next week on the second chance saloon squad.

    Any problems with those trades?

If you have Liccha the trade has to be to Garvey. He will play 65-80min, he reminds me of Cook (just wont score as many trys as him last season) i'd expect really good base stats from him.

    Lichaa to Garvey
    BHenry to Inglis (via Guth)

Leaves $100k to bump a cheapie to Carter next week if I want.

Figure it's a better move to get a low-BE GI the week before he plays Newcastle than the week after.

Speaking of Korbin, 53mins last week, is he likely to keep that time up all season? Looks like good base stats and a very low ownership

I could do this and upgrade Henry or Leulai to Carter but i would be a GUN down and unless the midrangers Carty, LAM improve and Rochow, Turner, Carter continue scoring well I will be behind the 8 ball

would need Garvey to avg around 45 to make it worthwhile, can he achieve that?
