I could do this and upgrade Henry or Leulai to Carter but i would be a GUN down and unless the midrangers Carty, LAM improve and Rochow, Turner, Carter continue scoring well I will be behind the 8 ball

would need Garvey to avg around 45 to make it worthwhile, can he achieve that?

Work it out on what you thought your players would score pre-rd1, 1 bad game doesnt make a bad mid-ranger.

So essentially Lichaa + Mid + Rookie scoring compared to Garvey + Mid + Carter

Youve used 2 trades and u think youll get 100kmin for Carter and i reckon you can get 170k from Garvey if he plays 8 weeks.

The other guy I'm looking at this week is Terepo. 48 points in 38min, 32 tackles and 92m in that time that's solid and for 212k.... hmm

If you have Liccha the trade has to be to Garvey. He will play 65-80min, he reminds me of Cook (just wont score as many trys as him last season) i'd expect really good base stats from him.

What if Garvey gets 60 minutes at hooker and Jackson goes into there to cover or the absolute worst happens and Garvey gets injured, that would leave a bargain basement hooker with no exit strategy. It's a risky prospect this early in the season when Lichaa could well be back in 4 weeks.

Carter is over rated, everyone is knee jerking, if they aren't injured pull your head in.

There are 10 pages about the same 6 players. You people either cant read or as dumb as fuck. I don't win but neither do you.

No it doesn't and am still confident in the mid rangers i chose but with someone appearing $150,000 less who can potentially score the same as your $300,000 + mid ranger its a tough decision

If Carter had the job security he does now at the start of the season then he would of been in my team at the expense of one of my mid rangers and the cash would of been used elsewhere

Garvey is appealing if he plays the big minutes you expect but I'm worried Lichaa comes back in 4 weeks

You cant plan for injuries and he is only using 70k of the 270k downgrade money so has that for an exit. If he was worried about injuries he wouldnt have Turner who has a 25% of getting knocked out in the first 10min every week i reckon.

Return to play after a meniscal injury is expected. The timing is variable and depends on the injury, treatment and rehabilitation protocol. In many cases, return to sport can be as soon as two to three weeks or as long as six to eight weeks. Strapping, or taping, can provide an added level of support and stability to weak or injured knees during the rehabilitation process.[/quote]

If he goes for surgery youre probably looking at the 4-8 weeks i guess

The banter just picked up in here. Geez after rage quitting last season when I got screwed over by something in round 1 (can't remember what, rule changes or something) I forgot how much time I wasted on this game. Bye bye marks this semester, at least the goals were there. Now on to real business, how much value does anybody see in J. Safiti?

Ok, I've tossed up quite a few scenarios already and at the risk of pissing off angry tigers psycho, I'm going to put them up here because I'm not 100% on any of them and that's what this forum is for...

    1) Grant to Terepo and Leuluai to Carter with a leaving a kitty of 55k
    2) Grant to Kims and LAM to Carter leaving me with 148k
    3) Grant to Terepo and LAM to Carter leaving me with 277K
    4) Grant to Mataora and Leuluai to Carter with 32K left

I think I like option 1 and 3 the most.

1 Gives LAM another week to see how his minutes go, though not sure if this is a good thing or what's worrying me. Assuming he gets low minutes and winds up with another 30, do we expect something like a 20k drop?
3 means I don't risk losing money on LAM but then I've taken two risks in Terepo and Carter.
2 Seems ok but I'm thinking I might bring in Kims next week with the cash I get in option 1 and 2.

    Thoughts, Opinions, Anger?

He'll be out of my team when Tariq comes back I think. Will give him one game on the bench, he's going to be a good player for Newcastle whether that translates or not to fantasy is another thing
