Since that game, the situation has got worse with the Lodge injury and potentially Radley being out (more than likely).

From game 1, Turpin was intended to get what looks like 50+ minutes at HOK, with Cheese playing lock for significant periods. The bench named this week shows that this should continue. If you replace Lodge with JWH and they keep the same game plan, he still has a HOK / Lock role, not a big minute HOK role.

Is there even really a difference to whether Smith is playing hooker or lock for fantasy purposes? If anything one would think time spent at lock would be more valuable than time spent at hooker because he’d be defending in essentially the same area anyway and would have more oppurtunities to run, this more oppurtunities to gain metres and break tackles.

That said, I’m jumping off, outside of 2021, if he’s not on the field for 80 and/or doesn’t score a try, he doesn’t score very well, and tbh, I’ve been forming the opinion over the last year an a bit that 2021 stats might as well be thrown out altogether for all the relevance they have to how a player might score in a certain role

His average at Lock when playing more then 50 minutes is 57 from 58 minutes at 1 ppm

which is more then his average at Hooker.

Operation get rid of WT players not named Doueihi is my only goal this week.

The fact that people are now considering Turpin is why some of these theories being put forward aren't just funny, some are actually going to take it seriously and cost them trades and rankings
