Bastard finally comes good after all this time, has a BE of 2 and is going to be MIA for the best part of 2 months. My big brain play was he’d miss origin selection and THEN get the banner this week for Hal’s Haasholes.

Can someone please tell me he is a definite trade out - I seem to be irrationally wed to him.

I am looking at bringing him in, now that he is showing form. After round 14, he should only miss 16 and 19.

Something to note, you will have 17 exactly based on those trades for round 14

If Teddy or Cleary don't back up then you are playing with 16 (Koula,Hopgood,Ponga,Matterson have byes rd14)
Throw in a minor injury, suspension or Grade 1 HIA and it could compound. Just something to consider'

For round 16 you are looking at having 8 players too, but thats weeks away

I haven't looked at how Haas goes but I think last year he carried a shoulder issue, didn't he?

If haas is fully fit he basically doesn't need a rest. He's a machine. I'd say the Broncos will do their best to manage it but if they're starting to slip on the ladder and the games are tight, I doubt he's resting too much.

He wil play less mins in origin than a normal club game anyway, but yeah its just the turn-around time from origin to club that is an issue.

Ahhh true, I forgot about the shoulder issue last year. I might be thinking of some of the halves like Cleary/DCE who I am sure have had high scoring games backing up.

Just fighting the urge to trade Haas, I just see it backfiring for me later.

    Boyd to Cook
    Cheese to Ponga

These two are locked in,not sure whether I should use any more trades?

    Lemuelu
    Ponga Garrick

    BSmith
    Bula
    Teddy
    Haas
    Hynes
    Cleary
    Preston
    Manu
    Edwards

Have 11 for this week, best to leave it at that?

    Fuck em.

Have thought of this mate, and running the risk (currently). Plan is one of the Warriors edges will go for a WFB, probably Drinky.

I may still change one of my trade outs to include Matto  Sad or someone like Hors/JFH in instead of Hopgood

Plenty of high scoring non-origin MIDs - JDB, Horse, Tohu - should all score more points than Haas for the rest of the season.

I feel like Haas is the kind of guy who comes out and gets 80 backing up from Origin. Especially after a loss.

I think I might keep Loiero for a while as well, he may not be a top shelf scorer but he is a consistent 40+ scorer, I feel like he might be the last of my upgrades.

I’m with you on this, I was considering Haas out due to the worry of him not backing up / playing low minutes but the guy is a freak of nature, playing 80 whilst fasting etc.

With trades dwindling I think it’s easier to just save the trades and prepare to loop him in the back up rounds using HEdwards.

I doubt Horse scores as well on the EDG.

Along with Teddy the two best value options under 600k

If you held this long you probably have to hold

    Check your Rd 16 numbers.
I’m thinking Robson instead of Cook due to this.

Tohu probably a better trade in over Hopgood especially if I'm considering keeping Matto?

Anyone already gonna be one short for next week?

Only Teddy/Bula/Gutho/Ponga at WFB and don't like any of the options other than Turbo.

Probably better to play one down than burn a trade for one week

I think Cook is also a big chance for Origin 2 if NSW somehow don’t win.

This question will be answered once we get concrete news on Matto's calf scan

Kinda ridiculous that Eels haven't provided that info yet
