    Coates the week after is a shout.

    Yeah he might be base price the week after.

    At this point I think I've wound up that plan, and instead am just going Cheese and Miller to JDB and Fainu (avoiding Ponga).

    This lets me keep Haas and have a fairly straightforward way of getting D Edwards next week ($200k bank so the above-mentioned strategy is still possible if I'm lucky) while avoiding the risk of Ponga getting concussed yet again.

    It does mean I have 11 players this week instead of potentially 12, but that's fine, I think I'm better off keeping my powder dry when it comes to Haas and trade him for D Edwards next week.

    Feel like I've scratched together a solid enough 13 for this week after current trades.

    Robson
    JDB Tohu Tatola
    Hopgood Couchman
    SJ DBrown
    Lemuelu Bird
    Drinkwater Ponga Sloan

    Hopefully make some ranks.

    $158k and 10 trades remain after this:

    Miller ---> Ponga
    BSmith ---> Hopgood
    Alamoti ---> Metcalf (bit of a punt but capable of going big)

    Robson
    Horsburgh, JDB, Stone
    Hopgood, Hosking
    Crossland, Metcalf
    Bird, Manu
    Ponga, Tedesco, Bula

    Cleary, Hynes, Boyd, Haas

    Preston, HEdwards, Oloapu, BTurbo

    Planning to use the last trade of the round to jettison BTurbo for Val if he plays.

    Thoughts?

    Not sure if this has been mentioned yet.

    Looping and emergencies are in the bin this week. I just noticed a notification on the app that players must be in your starting 13 to count this week. Auto emergency rules do not apply.

    That contradicts their help page

    "Bye round (13, 16 & 19) score reduced to 13 players (not 17), where 13 on field players will contribute to the total of the fantasy score, with standard auto-emergency substitution in play."

    Also in their "Classic Guidelines section: "Note: For the designated Bye Rounds (13, 16 & 19), your team’s total score will aggregate the 13 players only, subject to auto-substitution rules. "

    I'm trading Carrigan and holding Haas.

    NSW hasn't needed Haas to play big minutes in the past and I think Young + Friz will be EDG with Murray, Martin, Paulo and whats his name.. TPJ playing in the MID rotation. Haas can still bang out big scores even with reduced minutes when backing up.

    I was always planning to trade Carrigan this week, but the big score made me pause for a moment. A couple of 50s peaks at +30k after 2 games. 55s is +45k over 2-3. So I don't like that as a reason to hold. I think both he and Haas will have some reduced minute games, with Carrigan's scoring more affected between the two.

    Popped up on the bottom of my team list. Something like "Make sure you start them.

    Fuck it, will roll the dice with Ponga again unless Te Whare starts
    At least at fullback he won't be defending in the line and a chance of goalkicking
    200k cheaper than Isaako too so a direct swap with alamoti

    Yeah I remember seeing this popup (android app) but I didn't really read it...did think after I closed it that I thought it might have said something along those lines. But dismissed it as the rules they published were quite clear.
