So does everyone. its R16 hooker I need

    Turpin is pretty uninspiring
I might just go Robson. Forego one of Bateman/Dedwards and hope they drop a bit of cash to grab in a couple of weeks

    $9k off Robson+Bateman in a double trade

    That's annoying

I won the $1000 last month and was approx 50pts off it this month but trades up my sleeve (Who knows when they will ever pay up haha)
A heap others here were even better setup from what I have read, I was back 2500 place for the month or something
It was just an interesting question I thought, thats my fortnightly wage so alot of money to me

But saying that whats the point of throwing it all away halfway through the season and 150pts off 1st
I guess they probably dont have a great community like this to hang out in

Yeah, mate definitely interesting. Congrats on the last month's win btw.

Hard to say what I would have done, if I had realised real money was on the line. My wife dislikes how much time I spend on it and likes to joke with my winnings that I'm working my ass off for like $0.00001/per hour (or something like that)

As an owner, I know why you want to get rid of Crossland, and Robson is a definite upgrade. Just checking you are aware that Crossland has received HOK dpp and is available rd16? You might not want to keep him until then (understandable) but just checking you're aware.

Yeah at the bottom mate Ive changed the trade out from Crossland to Curran so I have Crossland as a half for R16.

This is the month to do it or anyone else reading.
Tough 4 weeks but if you max trade and setup for round 16 with a gun team you have a good shot as 99% wont be doing it

"Better to go hard and give yourself a chance, than hold those trades and hope for carnage later, such a negative play"

Roughly quoted, Verbal Kint, circa 2019. My philosophy also (within reason)

Have they seriously not stumped up the $1k, Booze? Worth an email, don't let them set a precedent for the end of the season!

If it helps then think of them as multicoloured KFC vouchers.

I'm still confused, but if you don't have a shitty rd16 hooker already, I reckon I'd be in the camp of getting Robson over Turpin. Both don't play rd19, but a much, much better chance that Robson is a keeper, and a much much better chance that he plays rd20 (BSmith probably back then, nukes Turpin while Cook is on the bye).

Crossland as a half? There are better options at half. I'm only (considering) holding so I can play him at hooker. Who do you have at hooker for rd16? If you've got Robson, I'm not sure I'd hold Crossland's sorry ass at half when there are better options.

Have sent a few emails and the last reply was last week which they had "sent onto the team to process"
It took genius sports 2 weeks to even reply to the first enquiry in the first place haha

FFS now I have got a kfc advert on facebook and Kylie Gillies bought 250 chicken tenders and 24 packets of large chips for $692
I don't know whats worse, inflation of chicken prices or the fact that it was reported on

It sounds like indecent proposal but with chicken

It was just a typo originally, putting 17 instead of 16

My current plans are now Robson and Bateman in. Want Dylan Edwards but can't afford him without a downgrade as well. And don't want to use 4 trades, so he has to wait.

May switch tactics, get DEdwards instead of Bateman, and then sort of hope that Papali'i drops a bit of cash to get him over Bateman in the next couple weeks.

Thinking about he guy in 9th, he’s gone for it in a very particular way with loads of R14 bye players. You definitely could have a strong R13 side without doing that. Makes me think he’s mainly H2H focussed, realised was in with a chance, and sacrificed four trades and a R14 H2H matchup to have a crack.

I don't have any other R16 halves currently - except if I move Ponga down mate, which then means I need a WFB to play alongside Drinky/Bula

So I absolutely need at least 1 extra Half/WFB trade in if I dump Crossland

I don't need to play Crossland in my 17, and he won't lose much value to be able to use in R16 so it's points end of the day in tough bye round.

If I dump him now I need to use another trade to get better numbers for R16

They normally take a while. Make sure to keep an eye on those Promotions/spam folders. They send an email first which you have to respond to, stating that you are eligible to receive the prize because you aren't a family member of the promoters, and blah blah, you're an all around good guy, blah blah, I haven't cheated etc etc.

Targeting it left me low on trades and with 4 out this week none of whom I want to trade yet, then the Bird injury left me with 16 so I'll have to get in another CTR or WFB and hope my Origin players backup.

That being said my concerns are barely worth mentioning, there are a lot more teams in a worse position than me... I'm happy to be ranked where I am considering just like Booze I had a truly awful start to the season.

Yeah, I like it, good plan. I'd like Dedwards too, probably can't afford him and the forwards I want and Hynes at some point, I'll need to compromise, obviously all out the door come Friday no doubt.
