Five players of interest ... in no particular order

1/ Will Jed Cartwright lock down a spot in the 2nd Row at Newcastle and by the new must-have CTR?
2/ Likewise, will Jai Arrow now play 80 on the EDG every week like he did at the end of last season?
3/ Do the Tigers give Latu Fainu a go at 5/8 to start the season?
4/ Are Strange and Iro the ideal CTR pairing with Jed Cartwright CTR/EDG on the bench?
5/ Is Mann finally going to reach his Fantasy potential at LOCK for the Bulldogs?

Okay, but still priced well under a monster sample size of 48 (playing 60+ plus) which peaked previous season at a 53 average.

Bugger, only just opened it all up for a looksie! Alamoti doesn't replace Crichton in the Centre and May replacing Turuva?

No, it's apparently either May in the centre or Turuva in the centre with May on the wing. If it's Turuva I'd be slightly interested, actually. May's too expensive but Turuva 100k less and Panthers centres do score lots of points.

    I'm going to go with.

    1) No
    2) No
    3) Maybe
    4) Have contingencies because strong possibility neither is named
    5) No

No discount for May after not playing a single game in 2023? Anymore players like this mate?

I'm sure it's happened before. Beau Fermor this year too.

If you want a laugh, look at Jordan Pereira's price.

    HAHA bloody hell!

Was eyeing Fermor as thought could get him cheap! Sad

one early player I might take a punt on as early flyer is Sean Sullivan, one of those gut early feels for me

Love me some early season gut feelings, it's why I started with Walsh in 2023.

Tallis Duncan is my current guy like that, even if he is on the bench. That kid has looked nothing but amazing every time I've seen him on the field.

Duncan hasn’t trained edge at all pre Christmas he’s solely trained middle they’re talking out of their arse. Keaon has been training left edge and Host/Cheeks right edge. Arrow has been with the rehab guys pre Christmas on limited training etc…

Silky is worse overnight again the kidney markers are going further up in hospital not down even under fluids and antibiotics. We are picking her up at 6pm from animal hospital today we can have her overnight then at 2pm tomorrow we have to put her down at Mortdale our usual vet where we went for years. It would be cruel to keep her going. I have had a few tears last few hours it’ll hit me like a tone of bricks tomorrow.

It’s has not sunk in yet but I feel very low and somewhat lost and restless. But appreciative that she can have 1 night at home. I’ll probs stay up with her most of the night even when she’s sleeping and just sit with her.

Aside from that I’m in a moon boot I fell downstairs was dizzy with Covid have fracture in foot and grade 2 ligament tear need 4-6 weeks in the boot. Then 6 weeks physio when I come out of the boot.

Thanks mate I’m absolutely distraught I got her home half hour ago it’s good we can have this last night together but when I hold her I can’t let her go it is so hard I feel helpless I’ve done everything I can for this cat but it doesn’t make it any easier

Thanks mate we might have a miracle with Silky here though based on the last couple of hours.

Silky has perked up all of a sudden. They had her on medications to zonk her and now one has worn off she’s eating fine, drinking fine, walking around steadily, purring no signs of any pain or discomfort.

So we are taking it hour by hour. She’s a miracle cat should’ve died 4 years ago against the odds she survived. Then a year after that should’ve died again but didn’t. We need to take her back to the animal hospital just for a 70ml injection of fluids and get more medications etc and see a vet.

But we are thinking we can’t put her down no signs of pain, no vomiting no diarrhoea.

She’s peeing fine in her tray not falling over.

Maybe we can have her another night her vital signs seem good.

She’s the strongest fighter I know and she’s so happy to be home. It’s like a miracle she’s rallying a little bit. Good to have nice family time
