Anyone know if the pre-season matches will count for suspensions this year?

Happy New Year crew. Thought I should wander in here and check out what’s going on.

Alfie wrote:All this talk from Kevvie of Willison securing a spot on the bench, who makes way? Woulda had it something like this beforehand

    Jensen 40
    Walters 55
    Haas 60
    Riki 80
    Piakura 80
    Carrigan 65

    Smoothy 25
    Baker 25
    Hetherington 25
    Taupau 25

I think people are likely over-rating Baker's chances. My take on it is that he was far down the pecking order at a full strength Roosters pack, with Tupoinua and Butcher not making the 17, and Baker being further behind both of them for a bench spot, as well as any new up and comers, as he has never cemented a spot strictly on merit, just through injuries and suspensions. Would have taken multiple injuries to get any time on the field. I think he was more pushed out, than being highly in demand at Broncos.

He was starting over your guy May.

But, yeah, with Leniu coming in surplus to requirements at Roosters and with Flegler leaving the Broncos needed a prop. Good move for all sides. It's a matter of whether Baker or Jensen (or Hetherington) replaces Flegler as the third Broncos middle. Personally reckon people are overrating Jensen and that Baker more likely to get that spot. He's a pretty good player really, just not as good as Leniu.

Have a look at the minutes at crunch time in the finals series, May was getting 56 minutes, with Baker getting 21 and 23 minutes.

Love Cotter as a player, but the way he plays he just gets injured too much for mine.

I like his starting price mate, no Tamou, Tolo on the decline.

Previous history of scoring well above starting price, with me going big in halves need to trim the fat elsewhere and Cotter someone I've got tabbed and a return to the upper echelons of fantasy mids this year

Fuck centre is dire I just went through the list.

Averillo 447k but that feels yuk too lol.

I might have to go one cheapie like Strange then pay up for one.

If Kiraz starts centre I’d be all over it. If not it’s not looking good at this stage. If Lomax is FB I would be keen but again that’s probs unlikely.

Not sure I can touch Xerri he will be so rusty after having had 4 years off.

Thought Xerri should be cheaper, and would of been all over him if he was close to base, too much risk in that Dogs side
