It’s incredible that you’ve reached senior years but still carry on like a teenager.

Broncos forum seems to think Haas is playing, and they're usually on the money with injuries if nothing else. Kevvie interview saying Haas went for knee scans but they didn't find anything much there. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

Yeah, I guess if he's named you just hope they're not going to take stupid risks with him in R3. My other slight concern is they roll him out for the grand final re-match and then rest him for a few weeks. No basis to that, just thinking thoughts.

Conclusion is I guess you just play what's in front of you when it comes to Haas. I'm not even sure what I'd do if he was only out for one week.

Been playing around with the idea in my head that if Haas is out, or seems dodgy, I could move Haas on for May and Hosking. Looks dynamic on paper and Hosking is a given (for me) in formats like SC and Dream Team where his price hasn't moved yet, but I'm actually wondering in Fantasy, is Hosking basically not far off his peak price? Obviously he's going to make a heap of cash this week, but assuming he sits around that 50-ish range most weeks, does he go up much more than the mid to late 700s? And this is assuming he keeps his current role, which is possibly unlikely. So is he then being brought in as a keeper and cash generation not important?

Easy to say for me as a Hosking owner already but would be very brave to bring him in now without seeing what happens on Whitehead's return.

As speculated by others on here I reckon Whitehead on the bench is a likely scenario and takes ~20mins from Hosking. 60mins of Hosking for $700k? And there is still a much worse case scenario possible where Hosking goes to the bench (yes despite the fact we can all see he is a gun player - it's Ricky).

Yeah, I think that whatever way you look at him - as a money maker, or as a nearly full priced keeper - the ship has probably well and truly sailed, in NRL Fantasy land.

Talau or Kini to be named Very Happy - Please god, I just need one.

Also Lucas to be back, not as important.

Pretty keen on this guy to bring in as a keeper, has a bye coming up but don't see a lot of downside otherwise.

It's a toss up between May for my centre to pair with Koula or Fogarty/Moses to replace Galvin as starting half

Having just brought him in, I feel pretty good about the selection, nothing changed in terms of eye test (albeit more points would've been nice).
The Eels showed a real weakness on their left edge early, and the Panthers did what they do and exploited it ruthlessly with Tago.
Getting some CTR/WFB DPP was important to me, hence the late decision to pivot from Turbo.

Just a gut feeling, but I have a suspicion that Gagai might not be the only 50 point centre this year; with Taytay, Tago, Cobbo and possibly Wighton to join him.

Last week I viewed Taylan as a more expensive version of Kiraz - good base stats - can offload, handy DPP, but you're paying an extra $70k for a bit more upside being a better player in a top 4 team (vs bottom 4) - not much of a value buy, but could be a little?

It would be nice for Kris to miraculously recover from the HIA - only a cat2 so not impossible.

I also want DFifita to be named, just to watch him play.

Its a 6 day turnaround - does he have time to go through the protocols to get back to the field?

Nobody has mentioned Mitch Kenny yet. Seriously considering him as a POD.

It's not an accident that the panthers sucked when he wasn't at 9. Soni Luke killed their plays, and I doubt they give him too much game time if Kenny is fit.

Plays in a good team, should get 65+ and under 500k. No origin either.

Yeah that would be nice (re Kris), in terms of exemption criteria obviously we don't have to worry about a previous concussion within the last 3 months and I don't recall him having a lot of concussion issues previously (5 or more means automatic no exemption), so it would just come down to if he had no symptons from the next day onwards and then getting cleared by an independent expert.

If you need some fuel, I started the season with both Lolo and Kiraz and I was so sure they'd be great picks. I have also posted in the past that Terrell May will only play 35 minutes in round 2 and even before that tried to make a case for Leniu being a good pick.

If you want to attack me personally instead, I play a heap of footy myself. I got dropped from HDC last year 3 rounds into the year and then only lasted a week in a cup preseason this year before getting cut after running a 6+ minute bronco. I've been single the last 3 years mainly because i'm still in love with my ex and I wear a beard to hide the fact I have no jawline.

    What a legendary post.
I had no idea Matt was such a toxic. I was hoping seyfarth hit his BE for the lad, because he is after all a lad that spends some time on a forum and in a community that’s been keeping us entertained for years

    Hey everyone,

I'm seeing a lot of pro Terrell May chat -- understandably. And he seems a likely candidate for me to get in this week but I can't help but feel this will all go south at some point (perhaps next week).

Relying on Wong and Sitili to keep to low minutes and JWH and Whyte to keep playing 25/30 minutes a week with the looming threat of Crichton returning seems like a recipe for disaster.

Also, was JWH playing low minutes last week an intentional decision so the 'big dog' could get up for his 300th?

Anyone in the same boat or should I just jump in?

I think there's just really no room to grow?

Looking now at last years stats, he averaged 67 minutes per game, with an average score of 35

I'd say he really needs to be 80 minutes to be worthwhile

What has changed to make him better this year
