Does he look capable of a higher average in the long run?

His scores are pretty much without any attacking stats - just base really with a few OFHs thrown in. When they work out their attacking structures and how to use him properly could see him going big.

Just one of those players that looks busy

It may or may not translate into consistent fantasy points, but when people talk about the "eye test" I think he's an example of it. Just someone who looks comfortable on the footy field and able to get involved in play

This is what I tried, and was about 50K short.

I think instead I'm going to roll out 16 this week and trade Sitili and Tuaupiki for those two.

Reasons? Sure. I hate every WFB option priced below Gutho, and I need a WFB.

If I don't get KPP this week, the ship will have sailed. It's already much further outside the port than I'd have liked. But now or never, imo.

So I either miss one of these two and settle for maybe a Blore instead of KPP (which isn't the worst option, if I trusted his job security) and play Sitili for a full 17.

Or I play 16, with KPP and Gutho.

If anyone wants to play along, which do you prefer?

TU - play 16 with KPP, Gutho and a red dot
TD - play 17 with Blore, Gutho and Sitili (no KPP in my team)

Looking to sell either Tatola or Smithies.

Smithies isn't meeting the eye test is he? I bought him thinking I'd bought a Fensom tacklebot with DPP, but with reduced minutes and non-tacklebot behaviour, it doesn't bode well.

80 mins? No but 55-60 seems realistic with only one EDG on the bench.
Priced at 31, an average of 40 pts would be more than enough to warrant value (if he maintains the starting spot).

Biggest issue is I would never expect attacking stats for upside.
Won't get any better with Whitehead and Hosking back, along with Horse cemented on the bench, probably a 50-60 minute role and 30s scoring.

Think this week I’ll do Smithies to KPP and Sitili to Fogarty

Hopefully we use the money wisely and end up winning more in 2025 and 2026 than whatever team he ends up at.

Although Roosters probably just use Manu and Suaalii money to get him

Surely Lomax to the Roosters for $300 a year and free red frogs from the canteen. Could use a good goal kicker

Will need Grant to come out full of running after his bye.

I originally wanted to make only 1 trade this week, but I think I might end up ditching Burbo and Tups. If Manly were up against anyone else than the Panthers I might have held on Burbo, but I reckon there is a fairly high chance he will lose some cash.

At this point I'm thinking bout Brown and maybe Blaize.

Don’t mean just for this week, seeing as he’s been one of the best edges in the world at one stage it’s not impossible. Nat is much better as a middle.

Taumalolo was the best prop in the world at one point - doesn't mean we want them in our 2024 fantasy team.

Crichton's BE still high enough there is no rush to do anything with him

Think you’re missing the point haha. I meant Angus will be a bargain in the coming weeks if he gets a big minute edge role.

Wong and Sitili have been average and Angus was a Test back rower coming off the back of a World Cup win 18 months ago…

Nothing to do with trading him this week
