Would the Cow suggest Drown instead?

If I could only get 1, I'd get Dylbags (Unless I had a gaping hole at WFB), although Gutho still likely a good pick too.

I may end up buying Brown next week, but with his BE hopefully doesn't go up too much. If you want Gutho, this is the week to get him.

Unfortunately don't have the bank to get Dylan, and I don't want to give up my KPP trade.
Gutho will have to do for a while, although at this rate I may need to sacrifice another WFB to get some balance back into my team.

Oh interesting. Just assumed Brown's BE would be 40ish.

    Might be Gutho in first.

Brown falling into our laps in such a manner almost seems too fortuitous to pass up, but getting Brown this week means I can’t afford Hynes next week. I really want Brown but I am missing a captain since selling Cleary and I just don’t trust the C on Brown. It’s strange to have to pass on a trade which looks perfect for my team.

Can someone find this man and get in contact. Does anyone know a Kurt B who's a Manly fan?

Hahahah demoralising stuff. The bloke who hasn't logged in since round 1 outscored me by 20 last week with 2 fewer green dots.

    NRL Late mail:

Liam Knight could start for Sam Hughes come day after being initially named on the bench, while Josh Curran is tipped to spend time in both the back row and lock with young gun Kitione Kautoga named on the bench following an injury to Jacob Preston (jaw).

I have to choose between Hughes and Bostock as to who to start. Not an easy decision.

    Any thoughts?

I like Gutho as an option this week (even though he carries on like a turkey on the field), but looks like you need a decent half more than a fourth WFB (5 if you include Kiraz). Not just for this round but next as well.

I think he'll average somewhere 30-33. So 120-150k of value. Handy, but not sure I'd call him must have. There are a bunch of others I could see making that much

Need to trade Chan for a green dot just to field 17, and feel like I could do worse than a DPP WFB/CTR on a reasonable decent team.

Can't remember if I've mentioned this before, but I interviewed Daniel Long for a graduate role, I think about 2017 or 2018. He used the fantasy win as an example of his real life application of stats and analytical capability, which for a grad entry level job was pretty good. I was playing a bunch of draft comps on Nearly and NRL Ceo at the time and had previously attempted Supercoach so I was easily impressed, but more importantly, my colleague on the interview panel who was a muso from Adelaide with no interest in any sport was also impressed.

He turned down the job offer.

A year or two later an acquaintance invited me to join an NRL fantasy league, and because of that interview I was like, 'oh right I know that game I'll give it a go'. Almost everyone else in that comp abandoned ship early in the season because of how shitty the app was (is?), but I found this website plus footystats and evolved into the NRL Fantasy superstar you know and love to this very day.

So true story, it's Daniel Long's fault.

That's a great story. Did he use the example of calling up Fanhub to change his trades as evidence of his high level influence and communication skills?

    Robson
    May, Cotter, Hughes
    KPP, Smithies
    Fogarty, Hutchison
    Burbo, Strange
    Papenhuyzen, Turbo, Teddy

    BSmith, Lussick, Levi, Galvin

    Salmon, Kris, Chan, Piakura

Spending a lot less time on fantasy and watching games is having a crippling effect on my season Laughing

Hoping this is the week it starts to turn around. Let's go May and KPP!
Crichton and Talagi on the radar for next week and will have to jettison some doggies in the coming weeks + try and figure out how to get Cleary in.

If Talagi is named at 5/8 next week he should get CTR/HLF DPP to ease with those holding Cleary and in need of a half.
