I’ve a slightly more detailed rambling in my team tracker for anyone wanting something to read for a minute or two.

Elliott to Curran looks a bit sideways?

Elliott getting good minutes and attacking chances. Averages 51 in 60+ minutes at lock. Averaging 51 this season.

I would have Smithies as a higher priority sell, (I sold him this week), similar minutes to Elliott for now, likely less minutes when at full strength in the next couple of weeks, and no real attacking upside. Also gets you down to 3 Raiders with the upcoming bye.

Curran has the role you want for a few weeks, but also adds another Bulldog, giving you 4 of them with a bye coming up soon.

KPP could be the better buy, cheaper (by $1k), should have the 80 minute EDG role for the season, rather than a few weeks and is averaging 51 there without any attacking stats yet.

Wish we had some more intel on how long Whitehead is out for.

Currently dropping Hosking but if he ends up in an 80 minute edge role for the rest of the season then there's a pretty good chance he's a keeper there. Career average 70+ min games is 62 which is basically the same as Fifita (over a lot less games though TBF).

Something like Cleary + Sitili to KPP + Guth leaves about 300k which goes a long way to something like Rapana + Lussick -> Hynes +450 +/- 50K player even just Hosking to Hynes if Whitehead is back.

What are Hynes chances of playing Origin this year? Last year was a bit of a disaster for him.

Can someone find this man and get in contact. Does anyone know a Kurt B who's a Manly fan?

I might have to go Gutho as well. I can afford Brown but it leaves me only 20k ITB, I feel a lot more comfortable with the 100k ITB that Gutho gives me. My forward depth is really thin though which is something I will have to deal with in the coming weeks.

I really like that idea, taking Cleary out this week with the foresight of pivoting to Hynes and holding for a longer period.

Really surprised that he is a POD that has been overlooked this week. Not even on the top 15 of the who's hot list. I can't see a better buy this week.

New coach, so who knows.... options recently have been Moses (injured), Luai, or Hynes for the halves pairing with Cleary.

Hynes just doesn't seem to be a big game player, cracks under the pressure, like the Sharks in a finals series, or playing top 8 teams.

    Bloody hell.
Talk about hitting just about every player that came up roses from the opening bat.
No trades and kicking virtually everyone's butt.

    Hynes over Cleary.
