NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 67 - Final charges and Late season shuffles

975 takes me up to 616 OR and tied for 12th with Chewie in the FOG, which is bloody hard to believe. Cheers to everyone here for all the outstanding advice, encouragement and good bantz. To go from ~35,000 last year to well inside the top 1k certainly wouldn't have happened without being part of this forum. Cheers!!!

I’ll update my personal stats later #nerd, but I’m sure my team value was at least 1m less than last year. But because it was down from gun hopping due to injuries, rather than bad choices, felt like team value was still competitive. So it never felt like a disadvantage having an 13.5m rather than 15m team, and it never really felt like my team lacked quality at the back end. If anything it felt like I had a marginally better 17 at seasons end that last year. Except for Uto, fuck that guy.

I don’t know what to make of this. Personally I didn’t mind the challenge of struggling to get a 17 each week but I get that for others this is a frustration and something they think needs fixing. If they did, I would likely be against more trades but 22 or 23 squads might be ok. I dunno.

Jesus top 2k in the end unless I get rogered by downdates (that probably happens).

I think I’ll take that this year, but a bit rough after the highs of last year.

Currently sitting at 483rd OR and 993 for the round. Didn’t hit 1k all year but had multiple 990s, but happy to stay in L1 for another year

E: also retain the title of best NRL fantasy player in Tasmania for another year. Was a near thing this year though hahaha

801st overall for me before updates.

Had an awful start to the season ranked over 46,000 after the opening round and spent the first half of the year burning through trades in an attempt to make cash and keep 17 players on the field.
After 1 major anomaly week in round 3 team went stagnant around 15,000 for about 5 weeks until I finally started making ground in round 10 and managed to move just outside the top 1,000 over the Origin period.
Remained there for the rest of the year before sneaking into the top 1,000 in round 25 and managed to hold onto the spot in the end.

My worst year for a while considering the last 2 years were 16th and 31st, but it could have been a whole lot worse.

My worst year in Fantasy, but still enjoyed the year. Love the forum. Props to all who went well.

Finished with a season high 969 to reach a season high ranking of 6997. Won an important H2H comp for $160. Overall a fun year. I may not contribute here loads but thanks for another fun year anyway everybody, and for all the help as well.

The Bludgers managed to bludge even more than last year - pre-updates rank is 7737 [looks like L10+ will be on the cards next year ]

This was a tough year for sure.

Looking forward to picking up Hynes, Haas, Fifita, Harry, etc. at a discount next year (unless Fail-hub chooses to set a gun tax on em).

current rank of 349 which is first time in top 1k in my 4th year playing. Buzzing with that, advice and opinions on here has definitely helped so thanks everyone !

Was 600 points behind rabs at round 19 and charged weekly to pip him on the final day. Left a nice vid for him to watch when he gets home from work.

Another year, another famous BL charge comes to a beautiful conclusion.

Well done mate long overdue. I had a terrible start to the year was chasing my tail from there took til round 8 or so to fix my team and so many injuries 33 of my 44 trades were on injured suspended or players that got dropped. I was ranked 16-17k at round 11/12 so to get back to a rank of 5058 isn’t too bad. Scored 879 this last round. 

Overall rank 5058 though is my worst finish in about 8 years. I did learn a lot though and hey I never gave up it’s not in my DNA. Unfortunately I fell victim to the BL charge too it seems lol.

63rd out of 171 in the FOG league I will take it tough crowd and I respect all 171 that entered that.

Shout out to Winfield, Wolfy, DK, Robelgordo etc well done lads cracking years outstanding.

Kind of feels like top 2k is now the new top 1k and top 5k is now the top new 3k. It seems to be getting more competitive with so many pods and things which is great.

I might play finals fantasy I am on the fence about it though hhhmmmmm….. kind of wanna put all I can into mixer the next month where I’m sitting 20th would like to push for a top 20 finish if I can will be hard though the next 4 weeks.

Love it mate brilliant work. Can I please add one name I think you missed that’s JFH going to Warriors if he’s gonna get the AFB role and play 55-60mins he’s going to be underpriced for sure and value one defs on my radar.
