The Double trade ride has continued
JNik (thank F) to Lamb
JDB to Whitehead.
Cant believe the shitty injuries this season.
Will give Ted this week off, see if any news on his injury comes out, developments for SOO etc.

I don't think so. Niko isn't going to make much more money all things being equal. You trade him to Lamb you bank 70k straight off the bat. Has the potential to make another 100k minimum you would think on top of that. Gives you an extra option at a Reserve if he continues kicking, wjereas Niko isn't really someone you want to have to Reserve. Niko's DPP is pretty handy but don't see much upside to him personally.
Even if your team needs a bit of work, I think most people are trying to get Lamb in this week over most trades.

Yeah, having 2nd thoughts about Ted to Aitken myself. Might let Ted have a week on the pine.
What's the dizzle with Arrow fella's? Assume he will start over Origin?

not real sure if he will get much gametime this year but he has been 'the next parker' in our system for a few years now. retaining him for the future is a high priority. played for qld residents on the weekend making 50 tackles and 165 metres. with parker thaiday gillet and mcguire playing origin he will probably get good mins in rnd 12.
bit of background he's still on 20 yr old. plays 80 mins every week in qld cup. was our player of the year last year in u20s. has been a lock all his life.
avgs in q cup this year - 170m, 32 tackles and 18 hit ups per game, with 25 offloads from 9 games.

The three trades I had lined up where
Jnik > Lamb
JDB > Whitehead
Ted > Aitken/Munster
I basically ranked them in that order of importance.
1st trade removes red dot, brings in hopefully a nice little money earner. Given the injuries, green dots are worth more then red, the risk is that he doesn't become Jnik v2.
Tossed up between next two trades. Went JDB to Whitehead because, its a sideways trade both are potential/already keepers and good bye coverage.
Ted trade I thought was more risky, fbs aren't normally as consistent scores as 2rfs. Not trading Ted leaves me having to play Vunivalu, every chance he scores the same as Aitken and maybe Munster over the next few weeks and ive wasted two trades, one getting rid of Ted and another bringing him back. If I traded Ted instead of JDB id be forced to play Bateman, who I have less faith in to score consistent decent scores.
capisce?

as if Melbourne didn't have enough backline trouble. Report says could happen early as next week. Tohu to centre even longer?

Early signs are that he doesn't become the next JNik, 80 minute half v second string hooker. Base stats very encouraging.

If you think he has to go, surely De Gois looms as a bye-period replacement.

Is it pretty likely that Tohu will be given CTR eligibility after this game at centre? Having him in the centres would be a game changer.

Peats, Evans, Taylor and PatMat can all be traded.
I would get rid of Peats first with the breaking news.
PatMat's breakeven is 38, Taylor 29 and Evans 36.
Pat seems the least likely to hit it, but without a lot of cashout options, you'd be looking to upgrade. Possibly Munster via Gutherson.
Personally, I cashed out Taylor for Lamb last start. I'd probably do that as your second trade and use the cash to upgrade Evans to Tolman and PatMat to Munster next week if possible.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 31
Why trade Peats out? Just cause of the change in bye schedule? That seems a bit of a wasted trade IMO. Do we not think he's stats will stay up with the Titans?
