Reports are that he has been cleared of any structural damage and should be right for Friday.

Symonds just got an early release from Manly...so everyone is happy now.

Funny thing is there once was a time when he showed Fantasy promise

Sweet - Round 15 is tough enough for me without needing to use another trade

Scored the Tigers/Rabbits game. I did my count and then went and compared mine with Fantasy, NRLStats, VSDT, Ultimate League, and Ninemsn.

There were 6 clear tackle breaks in my count:

    04:33 Surgess
    15:07 Surgess
    16:54 Surgess
    25:40 Inglis
    55:43 AReyn
    71:52 Talakai

I had a debatable 7th TB at 16:54 with Carter potentially laying a hand on him as well with Surgess
NRL Stats has 7, the rest have 6 bar Fantasy who has 4.

    My count was:

151 metres (5 or 10 less then most)
4 tackles (1 more then all)
3 missed tackles (1 or 2 more then all bar Fantasy who had 3 as well)
2 offloads (1 more then all)
    6 tackle breaks (as above)
1 try assist (most had this)
1 line break assist (VSDT and Ultimate also had this)
3 kicks defused (1 less then Fantasy)
    10 kick metres (average)
0 penalties (he had 1 on all sites, I clearly missed it Embarassed )
    0 errors (all sites)

All but Fantasy have at least 6 TB's
All but Fantasy and NRLStats have the Try Assist
All but Fantasy NRLStats and Ninemsn have the Line Break Assist

I score him at 45 with the Fantasy sytem. VSDT had 47. Ultimate 44. Fantasy 28. I do understand they are different scoring systems which is why I added the actual detail of the plays as above.

The TB's aren't subjective, they are there. The LBA seemed a sure thing; but they will always argue a Try Assist subjectively. In my mind Ted took an extra step then he needed to to draw his man before passing to Naiquama and got absolutely SMASHED in doing so-worthy of a try assist I reckon, but again, can be argued.

Either way I do find it a little strange that Fantasy scored Ted harder then all the other stats I checked when Fantasy in general normally goes the other way; especially when it comes to TB's and TA's, and even more especially with the update king that is Teddy.

    Anyone got the SuperCoach stats?

    Peace out, Detective Softcock Holmes.

Thinking about bringing in a good bye option forward for Fensom now that he's on the outer.
    Best options?

As a Cleary, J Turbo and Bruce owner I am very pleased.

After searching it seems a Roosters player fits the bill, as they only miss RD16 and that can be covered easily. So am thinking JWH may be worth a gamble for Fensom and grab some cash while I'm at it.

I should probably try thinking for myself first, but who is next in line if Myles doesn't make Origin?

If KEvans named at Lock again I might give him a jersey.

I don't get why JWH played 80 v Storm, te only injury I remember was Maubbs and he stayed on.

Well you're a bit short on bye friendly options with only Eels and Roosters playing 2 bye rounds from now. JWH or Taukeiaho are about the only real appealing options. Napa's good but expensive. Eels you got Ma'u and that's it really. Anyone else isn't a keeper option or at least likely to go up in price much to trade later so yeah go JWH. Got to love them POD's

What a thourou report detective Holmes.
You're a legend for doing that. Isn't always the last person who throws the pass generally get the try assist in nrl fantasy?
I was keeping an eye at his fantasy stats as I watched the game and I find it a bit strange that the try assist and line break assist were both there and then taken off...

As an alternative I could possibly just go for a eels/roosters cash out that may play for Fensom. If I bring in JWH then I think I'll have too many players and won't have the trades for cashing out an upgrading.

Need a spreadsheet I think haha

Yeah, the kick before a try gets it 99% of the time, but passes is not every time maybe 80 or 90%. That's the issue with the subjectivity allthough they are alot better at it then when they first introduced it, was a lottery back then.

Id personally prefer Thaiday to bench to play prop and Cooper to slot into tbe backrow. But like you said they will most likely just swap Myles for Lillyman if he is out.

They seem to have suddenly changed the ruling for TAs. Parcell had one taken away from him, and Smith missed one that was identical to TAs he's been given earlier in the season.

So it seems consistent within the week, but it's a bit off that it's not consistent within the season, particularly when it enters the consideration of players who've made trades based on how the games have previously been scored.

Maybe for next season they should simplify it and make TAs last.pass and take the subjectivity out of it.
