Yep I reckon it was mainly aimed at Gallen too. Absolutely giving it to him without actually saying his name.Ice wrote:Gould smashing Gallen without saying his name, and probably bird and Farah. All three should go.

Gould clearly saying that Gallen has been the wrong captain for the last 6 or 7 years. Muck me dead Gus, tell us something we don't already know.
He MUST go for game three, the time is now!
It's obvious, but it isn't gonna happen. They're not going to drop their captain from the team in a dead rubber in what will be talked up as his last Origin game. Good news for you lot is he won't be there next year.

I am yet to see a team celebration with Thaiday in anything but his budgie smugglers. Bloke must strip off the moment he hits the shedsSI wrote:Anyone just see the team song? Fuck me dead Fatty fat, I could have coached this Qld team to a few series victories.
I think we just have to accept that Qld have better players and because they are Qlders and are basically a bunch of pecker heads, they simply care more, that's what is seems to me, they just care more cause they have nothing else left in ther miserable lives.
Jokes, Qld is awesome.

Reynolds gone for Game 3. Bird must be the number 6, or maybe Moylan to 6 and Teddy into the 1

Hopoate would have got his fingers up away from the ball.

Thaiday charged with a grade 2 dangerous throw but can play game 3 with an early plea. He definitely deserves a couple of weeks on the sidelines, luckily Gallen came out of it okay and wasn't seriously injured.

It's pretty consistent with how they usually grade
Probably should be more but we'd rather crack down on tapping a ref on the shoulder

2 weeks for throwing a water bottle at someone.
2 weeks for throwing a player head first into the ground.
The NRL everybody.

Was certainly on the bad end of the scale for this year.

When I saw it I said two weeks because of who it was. If that's Bird he gets 5 weeks.

I'm trying to recall which player it was (Fifita maybe?) but in the last year or two I recall a player getting something ridiculous like 4+ weeks for a similar offence in a club game. If the grading was higher I wouldn't bat an eyelid though, fair call as there was no need for it.

Did Daley really just say he won't be blooding any new players for game 3? What about Tedesco? Or Cartwright? Even Peachey.

If there was one thing I could change on this forum, it would be deleting that stupid coffee drinking smiley. Whenever you post it I get annoyed, no matter what context, even if I agree with it. (And I generally am on the Qlder side.)
But go sick on it this week cuz....

Well when you consider it a grade 2, you've gotta wonder what a grade 5 would look like or even a 3 or 4 for that matter
Nrl judiciary is basically:
Charge anything that is reportable with a grade 1 and let those loading add up so players miss game for soft offenses
Charge the really bad ones with a grade 2 and give them only a slightly tougher punishment
