Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 40
Just got back to interwebs from none over the weekend, to find the carnage that was my fantasy team.... . Intended to climb over the bye rounds and somehow I'm actually 11 places worse than when i started. FMD. At least I can finally ditch this filthy avatar now for something more appropriate.

@LB. Good stuff mate. Ill be lucky to have 6 trades at round 20, let alone depth. Terrible decisions this year.

In the press conference, Barrett mentioned that DCE was a good chance to be back next week.

546 points and down 51 spots to 85th overall. Not too bad all things considered. Pleasing that I put the C on my highest scoring player JTurbo. I could really struggle for 17 this week, Smith could be rested, looks like Parcell might be out, Holland who knows, and was hoping to go Mitchell to Ted in one go but Mitchell lost too much. Decisions decisions

I think Smith will play consideirng the loss on the weekend.
Need Parcell, Smith, Holland, Fifita and Munster to field 17 this week.
Any word on Munster?

and james- what a legend paid top bucks for him this week and dropped the C on him. REpaid me in spades!
first post, been a sideline reader for too long.
I think he is as long as he doesn't piss off to French Rugby mid-season like the rumours are suggesting.
I'd also keep an eye on the news regarding Munster because we haven't heard anything further about his ankle.

Barrett will name Parcell today but it won't mean shit, we won't know until Monday and by then its too late. They said strain or slight hamstring tear. He's already had a hammy earlier this year, I don't think he'll play. Especially if they get Lyon and DCE back.

I'm with you, the first thing I thought when he went down was the couple of weeks he missed with the hamstring earlier in the year. I'm not counting on him playing either.

Welcome mate and awesome avatar
had a monster week with 841 (15p) (will have a quieter rd 18 than most though I think) with Captain James doing some heavy lifting.
Puts me way too high for someone doing their rookie season.
I'd be looking at 16 this week assuming munster and smith play

My issue is that if I trade him for anyone, it was going to be Friend, who is on the bye.
So might just sit on him. Asiata can come in if Parcell is ruled out late

Matt Parcell you barstard. You could wait just one more week to get injured. You were 80 min away from being a perfect cashout.
Oh well. Let's hope it's a strain and not a tear.

Injury list was saying rd 19 (Manly have the bye in rd 18), but Barrett said next week, meaning this coming round.Bren wrote:

If Parcell is out, it does open up the loophole for me (unless someone like Jahrome Highes or Jaydn S'ua get a run)

What would be the chances of putting a member from here through whatever training you give to your stats guys? It would be a great way to stop some of the whinging about it being so subjective if one of us was able to explain some of the reasoning.prozoneman wrote:
