Seconded.White Lightning wrote:SoylentGreen wrote: is Aitken a better option than Dugan?
I believe so. Every time Dugan gets tackled you don't know if he'll get up. Very injury prone is the Dugs.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
This week is shit for my team, I have an absolutely gun bench, with potentially Cleary or ETay being the guy to miss out on selection.... however I have Munster and Guth (unless I make another trade) in my back 3 WFB, and will get Green as an AE for Munster rather than Cleary/ETay. I didn't want to get rid of Green as every bit of cash helps me right now but maybe I should so that I get a much better AE... hmmm

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
Actually I think that makes sense, I'm very very reluctant to pass up a potential 10-15K from Green when I'm scraping the Barrel to get every last $ (I was even contemplating a short term trade out of someone like Finucane -> Barnett just to make some cash at the cost of trades) but I wonder if the extra 20-30 points I'd get this week from having a better AE might be better...

As somebody else said, somebody might get injured. But also, Morris might get picked for Origin again, probably not, but who knows.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
Croker is in form ATM and we play some weak teams over the next month-ish so could score just as well, HOWEVER BJ's points come regardless of tries as he goes for regular scoots and makes TB's off the back of that. Croker will have plenty of up's and downs so as weird as it sounds BJ would be the much safer choice. Croker would be a gamble on finding some meat pies and raiders going big (plenty of conversions) which is definitely a chance against Knights, Origin Cows, Warriors, but knowing the Raiders we are just as likely to play like clowns for those games.Stinkbug wrote:is a bj worth an extra 55k over a croker? other ctr is aitken.
Edit: I have both though and have for about 10 weeks

I'd pay probably like $20, maximum.

Think the only trade for me this week is Taylor - Merrin. Then 10 trades left.

i'm assuming you have someone worthwhile at VC and the ability to captain loophole this week. Otherwise that's a bold move that to me doesn't seem worth it. Say BJ has a massive game and scores 80 which for a centre is a big game. Someone like Fifita/Smith/Mannering will go kind of close to that with an average performance and you will only make an extra 20 or so. But if they have a big game and score 80+ which is more realistic, and BJ has a dud game and only scores 25 or so then you've missed out a fair bit. The risk and reward just doesn't seem to be there in my opinion

Plenty of options there but I'd think about Mau before all that's happening at Parra makes him stop trying.
