2016 Brisbane Broncos Resurrection Thread

No key positions. Fuck me dead, the Broncos got killed in the forwards all night which is why they lost the game. Coincidentally the forwards were the players they were missing.

You cant expect Hunt and Milford to do anything when the defensive line is in your face before you get the ball, chuck Thurston in the knights team and watch him get belted every week.

If both sides are at full strength we would likely put 40-50 on them like we do to most of the plodders at the bottom of the table.

I'm not sure of the Haters Club rules - perhaps you guys can enlighten me? I'm seeking information on the levels of membership? For example, do you get all the options with the base membership, or do you have to pay extra to use more than one whinge at a time?

What would you say the most popluar option is?

* Single Club Town
* TPA advantage
* Cheating the cap (obviously the TPA's aren't enough)
* Too many rep stars
* Stealing Canberra's rising stars
etc, etc

The way some of you flit from argument to argument, I gather you all got some sort of premium group discount?

It's mainly because the Broncos fans are so arrogant towards their team they piss people off going up the ladder, so when they slip it's delightful for those they stepped on. That and most of them are Fairweather wankers.

Yes, they are a better side than the knights this year. The knights are the worst team in the comp.

The broncos are the best team in the comp, and whilst understrength, they lost to an understrength tigers side.

At full strength, the broncos would beat the tigers and knights mixed together, and easily.
The broncos cap and TPA payments would prob equal more than what the tigers and knights put together too.

I.e. The spine. 1,6,7,9. That said, Darius was out so you had to settle with replacing the Aus FB with the NZ one so Yep, I'm gonna have to concede this whole argument, I can't believe I tipped the Broncos or expected them to compete with the force that was that Tigers team on paper.

I can't believe you forgot:
1. The constant Friday night 7 day turnarounds that are longer than their opponent
2. FTA exposure for the corporate dollars
3. Legend former halfback always on the field running the drinks
4. Referee favouritism
5. Whole state of juniors to recruit from all to themselves.

On a serious note.. we should have won that game or the very least pushed it to Golden Point. Even though we beat the Cowboys by 1 earlier in the year it is really a concern we arent able to seal out games or even things up with field goals. I wouldnt say it cost us last season as Hunt dropping the ball was bad luck, but last nights game was disappointing and bad decision making on the last play before the attempted field goal.
