That's nice but how much experience did each team have playing?Bren wrote:Just did the math lads. We were missing 1,151 games of NRL experience last night. The Tigers were only missing 415 games worth of experience.

No you weren't, you were being a petulant little kid and calling me a cheating scumbag and disregarding the valid point I made.

Yeah, you are right. I should have said you support a team that is run by cheating scumbags.Ice wrote:

Seriously, missing experience, that's the best you have. A cursory glance at the teams tells anyone with a inch of knowledge who should have won that game. Its convenient that you "couldn't be bothered checking the experience of the fielded sides" but if you did, you might find that the Tigers actually had more. But I'm not sure how that helps your argument either way as its a lame argument.
On paper, no matter what way you cut it, the Broncos had a far superior team, and they got beat. It's nothing for you to be personally ashamed of or get so defensive about just cause you thought you'd touch them up pre game, you didn't play, it just is what it is, a BIG upset.

Fixed, but again, I do t get it, am I supposed to get offended by something like that? Is it supposed to be a reflection of me? Seriously, the comments say more about you than I.

I listed a reason why I thought the Broncos lost. My opinion. I backed up my opinion with facts. Simple.

I'm not suggesting anything., I'm telling you, they do, just like every other team, but like I said, they've been smart enough to not get caught. Good for them.
Not sure why I need to be prepared to back it up.

They lost cause they played shit against a shit team that aimed up. That's a fact.

No the Broncos don't cheat the salary cap like those scum at Parramatta. If they did you would be able to provide evidence. I can provide plenty of evidence which proves that Parra have cheated the cap, why can't you do the same? Unless your opinion is false and has no merit whatsoever and is total bullshit.

Why was Wayne Bennett handed $600,000 under the table by the thoroughbreds?
Why did Gee quit when being investigated over money unaccounted for?
If you honestly think you're squeaky clean I've got some magic beans to sell you.

The point of the thoroughbreds was to assist ex players transition into business after they retire. That's alarm bells to me.
"Stay with the Broncos and we'll give you an internship worth $150k a year and all the business connects you could dream of. Leave and you get nothing"

It is pretty simple. If the Broncos were found to have cheated the salary cap like Ice believes (wasn't he the bloke who believed the moon landing was fake LOL) then they would have had competition points taken away like the Storm and the Eels. That has not happened so until that time the Broncos are clean as a whistle in my opinion.

Caught breaching the cap in
2000
2003
2006
2007
2009
2010
Please tell me again how the Broncos are clean skins?
You don't need to provide evidene of Parras breaches, it's a matter for the public record, but again, you are missing my point. Which is quite simply, and it's not earth shattering, it's not like I'm laughing about it as I tipped them last night by 13+, but the Broncos lost a very close game to a team they should have easily accounted for, and any self respecting Broncos fan would simply acknowledge that and not make excuses.

Ummmmmmmm I never said they had been docked points, again, you're just reading things you want to read and not reading what I'm saying. You can't show me a year that includes 2000, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, where they didn't get fined for breaching the cap. But again, that isn't my point, I don't need to make a point about them having cheated the cap, as with the Eels and many other sides, it's a matter of public record and an irrefutable fact. They are not clean skins.
So back to my original point they played shit and were beaten by a shit team missing their 3 best players, a team that only the most die hard Tigers fans would have tipped to beat the a broncos.
Your attitude to that fact would be a bit like me trying to find excused for the Eels if we lose to Newcastle on Monday, and no doubt we have a lot more excuses than for a loss there than the Broncos did last night, but I won't be coming in here trying to justify any loss on missing players or a lack of experience or off field issues. If we lose, it will be because the boys didn't aim up and Newcastle did.

We've established that. Simply question, should they have won or not?
And moonpie? What is that?
