@Milchcow, don't think Peats will end up playing 80 minutes? With Mortimer and Srama likely not being there next year, Friend retiring. Roberts may be an option on the bench, but hopefully Peats would slot into the 2nd Row for some time then.

Is Segeyaro signed anywhere for next year? Though I do see your point regarding the HoK position.

Sege just signed a 2 year contract with a pommy club, Leeds I think

To be fair, you don't know that. You can never be sure.

I reckon Oates is more a weapon on the wing.

    AS for 2016

WWW (What went Wrong in my case) like many had terrible luck with injuries in the first few weeks. Means I had to spend the first few weeks trading out red dots, and didn't get a chance to fix up the poor selections in my initial team until it was too late.
Also during the season managed to trade in a bunchy of guys just before they got injured.
Brought in Tedesco just before his injury (which was probably a poor trade anyway for financial reasons as it was just about his price peak) RTS and Munster also got injured just after I brought them in (although I did at least get Munster's 99 before he went down)

WWYDD - If my initial team selection was better, then it wouldn't have been so bad dealing with injuries, so next year I'll have to make sure I get a better first choice team together.
I can't blame all my shit season on injuries either so have to work out how I could have traded better. Goy myself in a situation where I never brought in Nathan Cleary, JDB or Ryan James - which is something I can't afford to do next year

So what do you do with Mead ? Why sign him, especially when you already had Maranta.

Long way to go but in their best form our backline for mine would be:

    1. Boyd
    2. Oates
    3. Kahu
    4. Roberts
    5. Mead

And whilst both Opacic and Pearson in particular have shown potential, I think they might have to bide their time until someone goes down injured or Roberts gets sacked.

I really rate Takarangi (even when he was at the Titans) and thought when he did play this season he had a really good year.

Easily in Parra's best 17 for mine.

WWW... same as Milch with injuries, but I also opted to start without Cam Smith and I had a KFP-style curse on my Captaincy choice for the first 6 rounds (scores below 50)... I started with Maloney (What the hell was I thinking? Stoned ) I missed the initial Cody Walker train...I traded Mansauce out in round 7... held onto Jturbo for too long... didn't buy Ryan James.

WWYDD... I will start with Smith as my captaincy choice, I'm looking at keeping 250k+ in hand for trades after round 1. I will resist trading like mad (I might join Trade Addicts Anonymous). I also let Origin planning affect too many of my round 1 choices, something I won't do next season. I'm also looking at starting with a couple DPP NPRs from the start, like a WFB/CTR and a WFB/HLF.

Deliberately starting with players that aren't playing just because of DPP is going to leave you broke and unable to get the best team later in the year. Dpp is nice but unless its just a cashout later in the year picking players solely because of it is a recipe for disaster.

    Thanks for the tip...
I'll see how my team selection pans out... I always find that there are 1 or 2 players that are hangers on, they come along for the ride, but never end up doing anything. I'll probably choose these DPPs out of likely origin candidates.

Why deliberately select non playing DPPs.

Just get Feeney and have it happen organically
