Yeah we were talking about it on here the other day and I couldn't remember which thread so I thought I'd plop it in here.

I don't think it was sprooly either, the username of the guy is on the tip of my tongue. Was definitely an Everton fan whoever he was.

Nah it was a legit post from a guy, maybe Andym8? Complaining that he thought his Christmas presents were shit. Everyone just laughed him out of the thread because he came off as such an entitled cry-baby.

It got to like 40 odd pages over a few years by the end.

Yeah. Received a birthday blowjob from a chick when I was 18. She sucked and not in a good way.

Looking at going to Da Nang and Phuket Easter next year. Relaxing beach holiday ahoy.
    Thoughts, suggestions, advice?

Actually never been to Asia before, not that I think we'll be having a fully immersive experience rather lying on beaches, snorkelling, drinking cocktails by the pool etc.

Hopefully I don't get drunk on the plane and assault someone which seems to a popular travel experience at the moment.

A mate and I have a tradition of only buying each other shit presents.

It started when I gave him an old worn T-Shirt with a stain and a heap of old surf videos that barely worked and weren't rewound.

He then got me a Bunnings t shirt as rebuttal and it's built from there.

    Quite funny.

TBH I'd be more interested in going to Vietnam again before I go back to Thailand. Or check out Boracay in the Philippines. If you're sold on Phuket though you won't be disappointed.

I will be in Bali for 10 days over Easter. Pretty pumped.

Boracay is on the list in the future for sure. There's a big ultimate tournament there every year which I might get an invite to again next year (got one this year but turned it down for some stupid reason!)

EDIT: and thanks for the reply! Heard the snorkelling is pretty decent around phi phi so that's part of the reason we're headed there + soooo cheap!
Bali - our rule was somewhere neither of us had been before so that was crossed off the list pretty early in the piece!

No worries lad, you're right, the snorkeling around Phi Phi is good and there's some great other stuff around there too. I don't get off on the clubbing shit much anymore (maybe getting too old, lol) but the shopping is dece, food pretty good and most things are relatively cheap.

Vietnam and in specific Hao Long Bay was mentally good. Fiji and Vanuatu are both also pretty good for diving and snorkeling. Boracay is a different idea, pretty slow and relaxed but if you're looking for relaxing times in sheer fuckin incredible surrounds, you won't find much better!

you might want to google 'songkran', a Thai celebration in April where everyone will throw buckets of ice cold water on everyone else, followed by some kind of powder or flour. Even if your sitting in a bar your not safe.

Don't get upset about it, it just their way of celebrating Thai new year !!

If your gonna be there at that time, it is great fun ( and fucking cold )

Ao Nang is great. Got everything you need but a bit more chilled than Phuket.

I've stayed here a couple of times.

    http://www.areetara.com

Good local markets in the area. We bought some fresh seafood and BBQ'd it on the beach.

Different food too than the rest of Thailand. More Muslim influence- delicious malay style curries.

Huge and mobile are words that come to mind. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see him back next year. Everyone knows that he has talent but just seems lazy and obvs has some adversity to being told so/authority.

Guy was signed with Catalans for this season and 2017, wonder what happened there.
