I understand what you mean, you don't have stats for those guys at a club level in that position, so you used what stats you had. But I don't think you can use stats from a rep game as any indication as to how a player would go in that same position in a club squad. For one, they are surrounded by the best of the best (something only players in my team can claim at a club levelRandom wrote:

It wasn't like that I ignored the ability to score tries, and listing club level doesn't make much sense for someone like Darius Boyd who plays club level as his Fullback due to the level of his skills, but at an international stage has played winger and been consistently one of the best wingers in the history of Origin even though he hasn't played there for quite some time at club level. (Although he did transition to Fullback this year.) The same can be said to Greg Inglis. He is easily one of the best Centers of all time (As he proved in his match last week against NZ), yet at club level doesn't play there anymore. Trying to use stats when he plays in a different position at club level wouldn't make sense to compare. So I didn't mention those.
) and secondly they are only doing it for a limited number of games, not week after week. I mean I'd say even players who play the same position in club and rep usually wind up performing much better in the rep games then they do for each and every one of the 24+ club games they play. A bloke like Inglis is notorious for fading out in parts of the season but hitting form in other parts, whilst always being pretty reliable at rep level.

you made the comment about Boyd falling over the line did you not? that is his origin calling card
he doesn't do the same in the nrl, and barely plays wing there, plus he was medicore at best playing for Newcastle surrounded by insufficient talent he had for QLD and the broncos
you are comparing him to a guy who runs in 60 yards tries for fun, Semi is the best wing in the comp no doubt
Boyd isn't in the top 5 as a winger
