Last day in work until next Friday, quiet office, only means early fantasy team building and scouting

early days I can't look past a starting back 3 of Tedesco, Hayne and RTS with Slater and Uate NPRs

Whare/Sarginson (if bottom price) with Chambers starting CTR

Norman if paired with Gutho with Cleary getting a look, potentially Maloney with Elgey at rookie price

    Friz locked in....

Probably Graham as elite year long prop with Gurgess

    Hodgson and Parcell

Well something that I have been dreading for many years has finally happened:

PC upgrade at work and literally the only site I have come across that has been filtered is Fanatics Shocked

After years of having no issues accessing Sportal and Fanatics, well, the khunts have finally got me!

On the upside I'm getting nearly 60 Mbps on Wireless now Very Happy

Not allowed personal mobiles at work as they give us a company iPhone so will have to start posting on that again-it was solely reserved for Stew before so that those narky mods wouldn't trace it to me :pp:

Wait, what? Really thought he changed the game multiple times when he was fit and Api was playing in the halves

Not exactly a glut of young hookers that have shown anything at the level that Parcell has, Manly would be stupid to offload him but it's Manly, so fuck 'em!

    Agree mate

I did not see a single flaw with Parcell which would indicate that he wouldn't have a very successful NRL career

decent size, massive motor, tackles all day and lightning out of dummy half

baffling if they don't start him IMO

Sarginson seemed to average around 32 in Super League last year, which would put his upper price at around $308k.

He'll get a discount on that, but super league discounting can be a bit random.
My guess is somewhere in the $200 - $250k range.

Given the generally poor conversion ratio of English backs to NRL Fantasy scoring, I'll be staying away until evidence suggests othewise

Jordan Turner averaged around 25 in Super League. Which translates to a price of around $240k.

    Maybe $150-$180k with discount?

I don't know much about him, but he shifts positions around a lot - where would he play for the Raiders? Surely not going to oust Austin, BJ or Croker  so wing or utility seems his best bet

If he is anywhere near the $200,000 range I will take a punt on him, shifted to wing sometimes for Wigan, reckon he gets a good go at the Titans who should be exciting next year

Utility if anything. He's barely good enough for first grade ESL anywhere other than centre and obv not going to displace BJ/Croker. I don't think Sargison is anywhere near first grade standard either, even though he might start the season there.

90% of serious players likely to have a Holmes/RTS/Hayne/Slater (if fit) backline and don't see much value deviating from that to begin with. Similarly everyone will surely have Whare and Elgey.

Others on the watch-list: McGuire, Vaughan, Hess, Ballin, Kostjasin, Segeyaro if Sharks pick him up, Keary (yes, Keary), Idris and whoever replaces Proctor for Storm (KBrom? NAS?)

got to start with Tedesco, Tigers always fly out of the block early season, and Teddy normally kills it

French might be a cheaper option with elite potential playing FB for the Eels

Well, that's the choice for the fifth position. Go with a gun like Tedesco, a mid-ranger with potential, or a rookie cow. Personally think with money tighter it'll work out better spending it elsewhere than starting with Ted/French when you already have at least 3 cheaper strong-scoring WFBs.

Jordan Turner $233k, so either I got my stats wrong, or he's priced with almost no discount on Super League stats.
Given he isn't even guaranteed a start probably safe to ignore him for now

    Probably around $240k.

But if Shaun Fensom can't crack the starting lineup, don't see how Dave Taylor will.

Still not sure why the Knights haven't made a play for Fensom.

Hayne $200,000 and should be in 95% of teams...Dan Sarginson $244,000 on the fence with that price will probably be better off going with a rookie price CTR.....@Shanbon you were right about Parcell...Leeds look they are signing him to replace Seggy
