So looks as though Leeds are about to sign Matt Parcell from the Sea Eagles, Is Api worth a look. Not to mention Seggy could now be on his way back to the Sharks????

why the fuck would Manly release Parcell? He was brilliant every time he came on. Can tackle and has great pace - what the fuck are they thinking? There's no to this story than football ability.

Good, solid player. He'll go better than Sarginson imo.

Who would have thought this game is so addictive? Not even Xmas and I'm back lurking. Greetings all. Fairly successful rookie year, can't remember my exact rank around 200 I think, is there a way to look it up now that you can't log in to nrl fantasy? Anyway looking to be wiser this year.
In other news, looks like Hurrell in doubt for nines:

Looks like T Trobjevic is locked into my centres for the year. Played the majority of his games on the wing last year and still averaged over 40 with a crook ankle. A whole year at fullback will be awesome

If you were a part of our leagues Bren or SI should have them somewhere. Otherwise when it opens up next year you will be able to check the rankings.

Yeah I know for a fact you finished above me in the rankings as I recall your username while I was compiling the Eliminator H2Hs. I can recall pretty much anyone who was above me in the rankings as I used to curse you kents on a weekly basis while running the Eliminator

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
with Parcell leaving surely Korosioau is excellent value as a starting hooker and also available as a HB at 374k. Any other hookers at Manly to be wary of?

He must be a good chance of playing 80 minutes. The nrl review only has Godinet listed as hok/hlf. Cullen listed as a half but I think he can play hooker.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Cullen as the bench utility.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
Manly also released Hugh Pratt, one of their lower grade hookers.
They either have a lot of faith in Koroisau, or have something else in the works. Reading the Manly forum, they are generally pissed off at losing Parcell, and Koroisai does not get much love as a hooker from Manly fans.
Lewis Brown can fill in at hooker, but Koroisau has played 80 minutes there plenty in the past.
Fantasy wise though, he's still not that good an option. Averages mid to high 40s as 80 minute hooker. Priced at about 40.
If he could play 80 minutes at hooker but still do a chunk of kicking, then he might rise enough to be useful.
Going to be a little awkwardly priced if he becomes primary hooker. Some value, but maybe not enough to justify getting him in

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
The rumour was:
Parcell to Leeds = confirmed
Sege to Sharks = unconfirmed
Beale to Manly = unconfirmed
If Beale goes that leaves a backline spot open at the Sharks. I was reading a Sharks forum & they mentioned Capewell as that man they would like to get the position. The reckon he could be an Oates type player & that he's played in the backs before I think. He looked pretty good coming off the bench in the games I saw.
