Starting to get a little excited Very Happy

The goal at this stage will be to bank around $500,000 straight up again.  Very happy with how it worked last year.

im Thinking Glenn plays lock this year, surely him coming off the bench in the middle late last year was getting him ready for this year. I dont buy the McGuire at lock, i think he contimues to play big mins through the middle same as last year.

I think A. Glenn will either start at lock (if McGuire stays at prop) or 2fr (if McGuire starts at lock).

I honestly thought Gillett was the better choice for lock with Thaiday and Glenn the edges

Foxtel have started their club days this week, showing notable victories for all the clubs.

Eels on at the moment, with club preview episodes on at 9:30am and 7:30pm daily.

Haven't actually watched any yet but saving up a few on IQ - might be some interesting stuff in there amongst the usual fluff.

    Again?

Can't find any sources for new charges but if true, makes me really question what he said and how he acted after last time:

On McInnes. With the Dragons having so many forwards on their roster he could be in line for 80 minutes if they have all forwards on the bench. This would be bad for JDB's minutes though. Their middle forwards include JDB, Vaughan, Packer, T. Sims, K. Sims (if he leaves Knights), Ah Mau. They also have edge forwards like Frizell, J. Thompson, L. Leilua, Host. Then you have Matthews, Marketo who are there.
Round 1 pack could be Packer, McInnes, Vaughan, Frizell, J. Thompson, T. Sims/JDB & a bench of T. Sims/JDB, L. Leilua, Host, K. Sims/Ah Mau/Matthews/Marketo. Even Masoe when fit is a possibility for the bench.

In 2016 JDB was the only forward in the nrl who averaged over 100 run metres & over 40 tackles per game. The man is a legend & very underrated especially on Dragon forums.

Is JDB's best position actually prop instead of lock. The best game he had was in the City V Country game where he just had to run hard & tackle hard in the front row. The man is a legend.

    David Klemmer (FRF, 2RF, $426,000)
    Jordan Kahu (WFB, CTR, $253,000)

This would be my shortlist. But even then some of these are a bit iffy.

I normally try and get 2 WFB/CTR DPPs and 2 FRF/2RF in my team to help with team flexibility. Hopefully some nice rookie turns up to help in this case.

TTurbo proobably highest on list. Koroisau also looks tempting too given manly situtation.

Yeah, watched that '89 Eels/Tigers game. Fuck me Parra did well with 12 and some parts 11 men to win. McGuire had a stormer in the second half.

Good effort Mulvy & thanks. I'm intrigued by Isaac Liu frf/2fr @ 322k. He's probably too expensive but with Taukieaho out possibly at the start due to his acl injury then Liu might benefit with more minutes. There's 2 issues (a) his price & (b) how long will SST be out for. If Liu got 5-10 games would he be worth a punt?
From that list I currently have Cody Walker in my team due to Souths early draw & byes. Sione Mata'utia is a good pick as he'll be an 80 minute edge forward. Jordan Drew will be a great pick if he starts on the wing for the Sharks if Holmes goes to f/b.

Yeah thanks. No worries. Will keep an eye out for Drew. Just curious why you think the draw suits Walker when Lone Scout says the rabbitohs tough draw and away games makes rabbitohs backs less appealing?

Sione looks like a good DPP in the Centres if he continues to play in the 2nd row.
I'm looking at Whare, Hurrell, and Idris as mid range cash cows/potential keepers in the centres. I probably won't start with a gun or a cheapie there.

Why do I feel Whare is a MASSIVE trap? It could be just because of his injury history I guess.
