Whare at rookie price. Also Matt Ballin - had forgotten about him, will he be starting 9 for Wests this year?

By the way, did I see that you got engaged or did I dream it?  Punching above ya weight there mate, the Mrs is gorgeous!

You'd think so. McWillrick shaping up to take Halataus place on the bench maybe and rotate with Ballin? Unless they use Liddle off the bench (would be my preference).

Isn't 2nd tier cap issues the only reason Liddle didn't get a run this year?

I am not considering Ballin at this stage. Even if he gets a start round 1, I just don't trust his knees anymore.

I have similar doubts about Slater, but he'll probably end up too tempting too resists.

CTR and WFB will be where the best cheapies are this year I think. Hayne/Slater/RTS would be a very affordable back 3 with great potential. Fill the last 2 spots with 2 promising rookies, and upgrade to Munster/Tedesco later in the season.

Whare is cheap, and I think there is another centre who'll be cheap who's name escapes me right now. Hurrell and Idris will also both be somewhat affordable too relative to their potential output.

Pretty sure you are right regards Liddle, big wraps on him and should share the time with Ballin 50/50.

Your CTW/FLB area is spot on I think with value. All the guys you have named should go good, not to mention Valentine Holmes and Tom Trobjevic if he gets the fulltime gig at fullback, then you have Ponga if he goes to Knights (unlikely), not to mention someone like Tohu Harris/Manu Ma'u if available in the centres. George Jennings, Brian Kelly and maybe Curtis Scott others at bottom price could get a run.

    Potential Value in forward pack:

    Paul Vaughan
    Shaun Lane
    Josh McGuire if at 13
    Jai Arrow
    Jarrod Wallace
Cowboys first interchange middle forward (Kaufusi, Asiata, Spine, Hoare)

Yep, Liddle was due to 2nd tier issues. Ballin/Liddle would be my preferred combination personally. I guess we don't need a "Halatau" on the bench with Ballin in the side anyway as he can slot into Lock if a re-shuffle is required. Mind you, Halatau could also cover Centre. Not sure if McWillrick can?

Ballin to tackle his guts (and knees) out and then inject Liddle each side of half time hopefully for the Tigers sake.

For those playing SC, apparently price reveals tomorrow. Also, if you had Assistant Coach or whatever SC has, you can log in to your 2016 team and start selecting 2017.

They might repeat what they did this year. Put Chee-Kam/Lovett on the bench, bring them on at centre. Simon to wing and Rankin hooker for a bit.

Shaun Lane? What has happened to make him an option?
Couldn't get a run at 2 clubs last year.

Potential I guess, but will still have a big price tag so not worth the risk. How big a discount would he get?

What club does Shaun Lane play for now? Last I heard he was at the Warriors but had little to no chance of getting a run with PODene, TheHoff and Sammin Mannreng (Captain Mainwaring) all ahead of him and rightfully so.

Apparently Manly, I thought he was still with the Warriors. Might get a crack after all.

Put a line through Slater, he's staying he may not even play again if he's not comfortable with his shoulder being 100%

Talks of Simpkins getting the lock spot for next year at the Titans.

Regardless of any cheap centres and what not I'm starting the year with Croker
