    Idris, Hurrell (Kelly, MCK DPP)

    Please note:
    - a few DPPs for flexibility
    - Sione could swap easily with MCK (save a trade)
    - Mortimer in the halves if he starts at hooker
    - Players in bold I definitely want to have in the team

I think I have a good starting 17 with these options

That team could blow up by HT rd1 with Buhrer/Idris/Hurrell/Slater all starting

Everyone will be adjusting their team now. I'm not liking my Maloney pick now.

    Current Smith-less team:

    Hodgson, King
    McGuire, Gurgess, Wallace (PKaufusi)
Surgess, Taupau, ETaylor (Butcher, Simpkins, Stimpson)
    SJ, Norman, Gutherson, Elgey
    SMatautia, Idris (Kelly, Scott)
    RTS, Holmes, Hayne (RJennings, Phythian)

    12k

Incidentally, info out of Leeds is that a fee has been agreed with Cronulla for Segeyaro and transfer will be announced this week. So that'll change everybody's team if he's in the 250-300k range.

Thanks mate. The theory re Maloney is his output should improve with no Ennis directing the attack & no Barba at the back stealing try assists. Either Holmes or J. Bird at f/b don't have the speed or footwork to run the Barba set play so there will be more responsibility on Maloney & Townsend to get more involved in attack. Hopefully this improves Maloney's consistency.
Also I just read on sc addicts that the Sharks/Segeyaro deal is on & that Segeyaro could be a Shark sometime next week. I was keen on Prior but this will mean less minutes for him as I assume Segeyaro will play 80 mins so there will be an extra forward on the bench. I'm not sure how accurate this news is though.

    Holmes is lightning, isn't he?

Milchy had previously estimated 254k unless he gets an artifical bump or superleague stats come into it

Same price as Sarginson coming over? Can see him getting a big bump in price personally

Think it would have been about $250k on last year's NRL scores, but a lot more than that on ESL scores, and somewhere in between on a combination of the two...so in other words, no idea.

I reckon he will come in just under $400,000 still low enough for me to become extremely interested

anything around the $300,000 mark and he will be a steal

What are the chances the Sharks run with a bench hooker?

    Hey mates!

Im working my way through this thread, good to see the veterans, the new blood, the spreadsheet/stats gurus (and of course the big softie Very Happy ) all back in force.

I'm up to page 20 and I don't think I've seen MAUBS mentioned once. Is the trap finally over in 2017?

Earliest Fantasy phuck up goes to me for not starting BBL Fantasy with Chris Lynn.

I'm thinking Tedesco could be the NRL equivalent to Lynn this year

Interesting there's no mention of Kurt Mann in the article. Maybe he's being considered for another position maybe f/b with Dugan at ctr. Or maybe bench utility which will end the McInnes playing 80 idea. I'd say McCrone is the front runner but if Nona or Field bust out great trial form they might be in the running.
