Disruption-free? So our captain with huge injury concerns isn't a disruption. Frizzell/Dugan are walking wounded and Teddy hasn't played a game since he got injured last Origin.

Have they been training with the team and will they line-up tonight? if the answer is yes to both of those i'd hardly class it as a disruption, but way to ignore my overall point and argue semantics about one thing i said that doesn't mean a great deal
also, just as an add-on to what i was saying, even if it could somehow be argued that a Blue win this year would be an upset, we don't even have the leave the the origin arena to find bigger upsets, 1995's Maroon-wash & 2014's Blues breakthrough are a bigger boilovers than this year will ever be.

Please explain where I have become confused? You must be confused as it is not I who made the mistake, rather it is yourself. I saw where you made the mistake and pointed it out to you in the above post. I'm sorry to have done so in a blunt manner but you failed to grasp your original mistake therefore I felt compelled to correct you.
It wasn't a mistake, I accept I mightn't have fully articulated every single detail of my thought process but it doesn't change what I meant and that you understood it to mean something different.
It's no biggy, let's move on. I meant something, you took it to mean something else, ergo you were confused/mistaken about what I meant so I'm clarifying it for you, not changing my position. Why does everything have to be black and white, we've both contributed to your misunderstanding, no dramas there. End of story.

No, you unsuccessfully tried to move the goalposts much earlier in the piece as explained above. I can see you are failing to grasp your original mistake therefore you have resorted to trying to move on without accepting the error. That is fine, just as long as you admit that NSW winning tomorrow night will not be the biggest upset in sport since 2014. We can both agree on that can't we?
I did t try to move anything, we are going round in circles, it simply tried to make what I originally meant clearer to. Those that sis t understand.
Biggest upset since 2014 still very much on the cards.

Now, back to the game.
Loving that Hayne has gone massively under the radar for this game three Prep, doesn't auger well for Qld!

Re: State of Origin 2017 Series
i've been heart broken like many NSW fans over the years but i think if we blow this tonight, i think i'll be disappointed as i ever have been, mainly because
a) our stupidity costing us game 2
b) they now also have boyd and JT out, we really should win tonight, our squad is better then there's with their injuries, they still have us covered in the key positions but we should be able to get enough on top for that not to matter
all that being said, i still wouldn't be surprised if we completely fall apart and QLD blow us off the park but i think it will be the most disappointing loss in terms of opportunity lost since the first series or 2 in the run

The only mistake I made was wasting my time trying to explain to you where you made your mistake. In the end it doesn't matter as we both agreed that if NSW win tonight it won't be the biggest upset in sport since 2014 like you originally stated. So your original statement was false. Glad we cleared that up, let's move on.

You reckon? I don't think McGregor has a snowballs chance in hell of causing the upset.
Thats what you're referring to, right? Its the only possible plausible answer...

Re: State of Origin 2017 Series
Look I've let this slide for far too long now but it appears many around here are not familiar with our mate Ice's work in terms of desperately downplaying the chances of his team (whether it be Parra or NSW).
Anyway all this upset talk has become annoying now, so please understand that in no way does Ice consider a NSW win tonight to be an upset.....let alone an upset of any significance.
The point of his downplaying exercise is merely to mentally prepare himself for the inevitable possibility of a choke tonight.
But downplaying it in this instance is a futile exercise because over the course of this series, we have all heard any number of desperate NSWelshman proclaiming this to be the dawn of their dynasty.
So once again LG has hit the nail on the head as to go back to square one after tonight would not only be heartbreak for the fans, I genuinely think it would be Origin career ending for many of the NSW players and the coach.

Re: State of Origin 2017 Series
I hate agreeing with the two heads but anyone who thinks this year hasn't been our best chance at a series win in 10 years is dreaming. Excluding 2014 of course.

yep, this is in reality a bigger chance then 2014 even, 2014 was a huge upset, the better team that year got beat because the blues just defended so brilliantly for the first 2 games
i think tonight is make or break for guys like pearce and daley, i think pearce's record is a bit harsh given the team he has been up against but tonight he has no excuses in my opinion, i think a big game from pearce will see us through but we're yet to really see at this level, tonight is his best chance for that

Re: State of Origin 2017 Series
It's been entertaining reading some of this.
Now for the reality.
NSW by 30 plus. This will be a hiding of epic proportions and the tears from the two headed red necks tomorrow will be beautiful. Our forwards will embarrass the load of shit that QLD serve up. Some of them are lucky to play NRL and will be simply outclassed. McGuire will be carted off on a medicab.
My prediction - 43 to 4. Tedesco to score a hat trick. Fifita a double. Even Pearce, the most useless Mong to ever pull on a NSW jersey, will get a pass mark on the back of our forwards total domination. Even he will look above average.
Field goal to Maloney, right on the hooter, just to rub both of the grubby, two headed, toad's noses in it.

Eldest son has pulled up crook so is not able to come. I've done what any good father would do in the same situation - dump him with Nonna and take the rest of the family.

Are we on the verge of the first 'Bradbury' series win ?
