I've read this 4 times, and still can't stop laughing.

I'm going to call it now. Freddy will be there as head coach with Johns as his assistant.Pieman wrote:Happy that we will be going in a different direction. Def have to do something different.
Will be interesting to see who they will put in. Freddy is who my money is on.

Interesting fact, Joey and Freddie are 0-3 when playing in the halves together at Origin.

If it's Sticky, I'll give it away.
If it's a Current club coach I'll give it away.
I think it will pro as be Fittler, and his about the same quality Mal was when he took over Qld so who knows how it might pan out but it means we won't see a change in the halves.

I know Dugan appears to have a red line through his name at the moment but for all anyone knows he might rock up at Cronulla, miraculously stop being a cockhead and start playing some great football.
First things first, you blokes need to sort out a coach and then let that coach implement their system (SOO is now a year round role....despite still only culminating in a 3 game series).
Personally, I think you need to look a bit left field and if culture is the problem, look to copy the QLD system and employ a coach who has been there and done it and commands the respect of the team....then start from there.
I'm thinking of blokes like Benny Elias or even Mark Geyer.
Fittler seems like he wouldn't take the role serious enough.
Johns I also used to think might fall into that category but his reaction this year tells me he wouldn't and might also be a good candidate.

Guys who I'd only pick if they have a serious attitude adjustment: - Pearce (but just as a bench hooker/utility)
