The replay is on in a couple of hours here, I think I'll give it a miss...I checked the score and comments when I woke up this morning. They copped a hiding on and off the park Roberts at Fullback was pretty woeful apparently.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 3
Just heard the news that Nick Politis is playing fantasy this year, I was lucky enough to see his team for Round 1 but he wants some help from the forum on who he can fit into his final reserve spot, apparently he has $1 million left to spend.

If he's got that much left to spend I reckon he can get smith in as player 22?

I love the eliminator. Can't believe Fanhub aren't running one.Moose wrote:Show of hands. Who would be keen on another NRL Fantasy Fanatics Eliminator? Doesn't seem as though NRL Fantasy will be running one this year (what a surprise..)

Even though now Carty can go in the starting side to spare some funds for other positions, i think its bad news for fantasy cause every damn team will have him.

Ive been thinking more about it. With brennan knowing carty well, hes gonna look after him first and foremost. I sense carty being eased into team off the bench at first. Also the coach may want to stick with the formation theyve trained with so far, reward those whove put in the effort so far, etc. Carty prob needs to win respect at his new side

Yeah Wolfie, even if he does not start you have to have him regardless. Latu looks dodgy now
but Kikau may be more viable as a EMG.This will make Evans more popular as well. I refuse to have him
as a long suffering Roosters supporter.

Just remembered Tyrone Peachey... if he grabs the second Panthers 2RF spot then he becomes very interesting, but think Griffin goes for a bigger body there.

Peachey asked for an immediate release and panthers denied, didnt they? Given hes gone next year anyway, cant see him sliding up the pecking order.

To the Titans as well. Panthers seem to love Brennan

Im not happy with the Cartwright move, i was going to drop him(i thought he would play off the bench at Panthers) and use the cash but now i think ill have to keep him in the side and try find the cash elswhere

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 3
Another name to consider.
Luke Brooks averaged 25 in games with Moses, and 43 once Moses left.
Will he finally hit his potential?
Partly depends who he defends next to as well - misses a lot of tackles, so hopefully he can sort that out (as a Tigers fan I especially hope this)
Luke Brooks averaged 25 in games with Moses, and 43 once Moses left.

I was actually looking at him a week or two ago. If he could get his defence into order he'd go alright much like Elgy. What put me off Brooks is not knowing how the Tigers halves will play. Jrey has already said that he is going to be popping up on both sides, does this take away from Brooks or would Jrey be used as a running half and Brooks to organise and get all the long kicking?

That's a good size sample too Milchy, so very interesting. From what Grub has said it sounds like he will be playing more like a 5/8 than a Halfback as well. Is there room for Brooks therefore to increase his kick meters based on that?Milchcow wrote:Another name to consider.
