Wholeheartedly agree. Could ton up versus the Tigers round 1.

Yeah, I'm happy to spend a fair bit of coin on the WFB/CTR positions this year. I'll only have one wfb/ctr on my reserves bench for cover like most of us here.
Trying to go with a set and forget approach not taking massive risks.
My current backline looks like this.
    Teddy, Ponga, GI
    Hayne, Takairangi
    With Hiku as cover.

    RABBITOHS

Predicted team: 1. Alex Johnston 2. Rob Jennings 3. Greg Inglis 4. Dane Gagai 5. Richie Kennar 6. Cody Walker 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Thomas Burgess 9. Damien Cook 10. Zane Musgrove 11. Sam Burgess 12. Angus Crichton 13. Cameron Murray. Interchange: 14. Adam Doueihi 15. John Sutton 16. Tyrell Fuimaono 17. George Burgess

Who’s left: Robbie Farah, Kyle Turner, Mark Nicholls, Siosifa Talakai, Jason Clark, Braidon Burns, Campbell Graham, Jacob Gagan, Dean Britt, Vincent Leuluai, Jesse Arthars, Billy Britain, Junior Tatola, Jesse Martin, Mawene Hiroti, Dean Hawkins, Ky Rodwell, Lucky Ta’avale, Sam Johnstone, Joshua Cook

Analysis: Greg Inglis (ACL) is racing the clock for round one and expected to be eased back at centre, with Alex Johnston at fullback. Sam Burgess is preparing to play an edge role, with young gun Cameron Murray tipped to play lock. Anthony Seibold has indicated Richie Kennar will score one wing spot, with Lebanon World Cup star Adam Doueihi to play off the bench. Robert Jennings (favourite), Braidon Burns, Jacob Gagan, Campbell Graham and Hymel Hunt are all contesting for the vacant left wing position. Seibold’s preference for an 80-minute hooker is likely to push Robbie Farah out of the 17. Adam Reynolds is currently in a moon boot but expected to resume training soon.

What can we expect from Cook at around 65-70 minutes of game time? 50+ still.

Also if you were going to run 4 basement price guys in your starting 17 Eg Leilua, Garvey, Croker, Nicholls. Since they don't have DPP are you better of puttin them into the 13 and moving guys with DPP into the 14-17?? Of course depends if these guys are starters.

Maybe wishful thinking but it's hard to see Musgrove come straight back into the starting spot.

For guys looking at putting Doueihi on the bench, if for some reason ARey can stay fit, he'll probably turn into a Lewis Brown only playing 10 minutes a game.

I don't see the coach going for one front rower on the bench, especially when your starting two aren't elite long minute players.

The DT predicted team lists carry about as much weight as any other predicted team list. Its a young staff member making a guess. We'll all have a different opinion on it until the teams are named on TLT (and that probably won't clear much up given they name 21 players)...

I still want a forum bet on farah being IN the 17 for round 1.

That Souths prediction is 3 weeks old - so its even less reliable than the standard journalist dart throwing.

Nicholls at the very least looks to have a good chance at making the 17.

    Looking at Taupau

With Lussick out of the team - 60 points inn 57 minutes
With Lussick out of the team - 45 points in 47 minutes

    Plenty of other possible explanations.

Pity Lussick isn't out fo rlong, but I think if I can fidn the cash, Taupau might be a better DPP bench option than McGuire

That is a big if on ARey staying fit Wolfking. Anything more then a slap on his face usually results in a broken jaw.
That is a big reason why Souths have underperformed for some time now.

Who here isn't picking Cook? I'm not doing it. Too many variables there. He'll probably be the player in 2018 I'm too stubborn to get, who kills it.
