Yes. Kikau will be back on the bench or worse when CHN returns. Kikau will maybe get 2 games starting.

The closer it gets to tlt the less sold I am on Hiku. Will probably rearrange the team to bring in taka if he is starting 2rf for round 1

I like the picks. Who's your captain. Also how do you think McKendry will go?

Yes. With people returning Kikau might end up with 15 minutes on the bench or even reserve grade.

    Edit: what WL said

That's my centre pairing. One of these years Maubbs will get a clear run. It doesn't even need to be all year, round 13 would do Very Happy

    Probably captain Brown.

I think mckendry is the #3 prop and will get mid 30 mins and hopefully will get high 20s. If rcg or Tamou get injured he slots in and gets bigger mins.

I love it when you type something like "gurgess" into the player pool and nothing comes up haha

    Lads, a few options I'm keen to see your opinions on;

    Cleeland vs Croker
    Mitchell vs Dufty
    Whitehead vs Merrin

I still have plenty of shifting to do, but mostly with the cheapies and depending on the first week team lists of course.

Also Mbye at full back, I'm pretty tempted as he has scored big in the past with his running game, which playing FB should help.

Got a mate working juniors at Panthers so got a bit of inside info. As always grain of salt.

CHN and Waqa Blake weren't expected to play any trials due to injury. They are ahead of schedule at the moment with both expected to get minutes this week. Kikau and Peachy in the starting line up as they are still under done. CHN and Blake set to start round 1 if they have a decent hit out in the trial.
Penrith not happy Dogs are running understrength as they are after a genuine trial.

Left edge looks set to be Mansour Blake Yeo Cleary. Right edge DWZ Whare CHN Maloney.

At training they have been running lots of sweep plays with Edwards as decoy out the back and plenty of short balls to the second rower(in this case Kikau). Kikau set for some increased minutes this year but will probably be a slow burn

    I have Crocker (outside 17) Mitchell (Centre), W/Head (2R).

No sure on Mbye, I’ve gone big with Teddy, Turbo and Ponga.

Finch wrote:On the news tonight they said Roache has injured his achilles, so might be another season ender for him. Sam Cook is shaping up to be on the bench and IIRC, Luke missed some games last year or at the very least started on the bench?

Also mentioned a player is pushing the big guns for a NRL Debut, can't quite remember his name, Haze someone or someone Haze? Looked like he plays CTR

Cook had a very average trial match, us Warriors fans aren't keen on him. With Hingano, Cherrington and Tevaga kicking around, he shapes like a potential trap. Hayze Perham is a serious talent, but straight out of school with no NYC even. May get a couple games, but I doubt it.
