Enari Tuala could be a smokie with Linnett's pec injury. Probably be Bowen though.

I'm more worried about how they can pay Cronk, Tedesco, Chrichton, Cordner, SBW and not have to fill out the rest of the team on base contracts

Pretty hard to tell from that game when they were getting pumped, but I've gone cold again on Watson.

Id say the only game that will have stats somewhere online will be the charity shield.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 6
Had another go at my team, any thoughts would be welcome.
Lichaa
Bromwich Lodge
NBrown Whitehead RFM
Townsend Cartwright
Leilua Taka
Tedesco Ponga Katoa
Cook Liu Griffin RFM
Croker Kennar Kikau Nicholls
52k left
Really happy with this team, mainly because of the depth (Katoa the main weak link in the 17). Think this balances out with having no obvious captain choice, but really happy with the bunch of players I've got. Would love to know any criticisms of some of the POD picks especially.

Not even that this year from what I have seen.
But the stat most people are after seems to be minutes played, which is probably the most useless stat from the trials

Only problem is if RFM is out you’ll need two emergencies

The other problem is, watching that game I feel as good and quick as he is, Katoa might catch cold on that right wing. But still thinking Katoa/Kennar could be in the 17 rotating depending on opposition

Did Eisenhuth return from his head knock yesterday? Or is he in doubt to start season now?

I watched that game. Pretty sure they said he won't be coming back and I don't remember seeing him. Still two weeks away though.

This is probably wrong:
If those 5 take up 4 million of cap (not including 3rd party) that leaves 5.4 million between 30 players.
If 13 rookies were on 100k that would leave 4.1 million between 12 players, so 342k each (not including tpp)
I guess you could see how they fit under the cap next year with an increased cap.

Yeah agreed. Although he did show a willingness to make a couple of dummy half runs with a couple of tackle breaks. Being outside duges doesnt fill you with a heap of confidence for a lot of tries though..

The first round I suggest Kennar may have more opportunities to score points against a leaky Warriors backline then Katoa
against the Cowboys.Liu and Griffin game time are a concern. Solid squad. Who is your Captain?
