This article (https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/02/25/latrell-mitchell-fittest-hes-been-sydney-roosters-coach-trent-robinson/) suggests latrell has worked on his fitness, hasnt quite trained the house down though. the biggest take-away is that

"Siua is that (first-choice kicker). Obviously Latrell kicks really well as well. It's unorthodox but we see how it works," Robinson said.

so mitchell will probably kick when tauks is having a break. got burned by a few single digit scores of mitchells last year but im becoming interested again

Watched the Warriors-Titans trial and paid very close and accurate attention to the players I thought were fantasy relevant from the game.

Latu was a workhorse especially in his first 20minute stint and whenever he got the ball he made great runs. He for some reason got very little ball though which I think will change.

Harris seemed really fit and I think he'll play 80 but he seemed pretty harmless in attack.

Cartwright made a lot of runs but he wasn't very potent in those runs. I think he'll still make good cash and play 80 though.

Hiku could not have been less involved. He is straight out of my team after watching that game.

against the Cowboys.Liu and Griffin game time are a concern. Solid squad. Who is your Captain?

Hey mate agreed on Kennar over Katoa for round 1. Just have it assembled like this so Kennar can be a DPP emg.
Liu I only drafted today after looking at his stats. If he can get 45-50 minutes, he should be able to average 40-45. If he can retain that starting lock spot, I'm confident he can do this.
Griffin again seems like a good bet to get 40-50 minutes if he retains that starting hooker spot. I'm hoping he starts at hooker for say 30 minutes and gets 20 minutes in the backrow. Will be tough considering he'll be contending with Buhrer, Barnett etc but imo he's been brought in to play the role Kostajsyn was brought in for..respected hard nut from the Storm that'll provide leadership. Just can't see him playing only 30 minutes in one stint. If there's any info stating otherwise, more than happy to go through and make amendments..still obviously open to changes, especially after TLT!
Captain for Rd1 would be Tedesco v the Tigers. I'd rotate Tedesco and Brown as captain depending on fixtures.

Interesting re Hiku. Also what is Latu job security like when Wallace returns?

Really happy with this team, mainly because of the depth (Katoa the main weak link in the 17). Think this balances out with having no obvious captain choice, but really happy with the bunch of players I've got. Would love to know any criticisms of some of the POD picks especially.

    i'd go croft over townsend

He'll definitely keep the starting spot ahead of Max King. Jarrod Wallace will be the other starting prop

I think I'm gonna run a a Lodge/Latu front row. I think Latu will indeed keep the second starting spot when Wallace returns. I think Arrow will go to the bench.

I always thought Hiku was shit mate and you just confirmed my suspicions. I never liked looking at him in my team and I might try and piss him off out of my squad also.

I think the Titans may line up like this:

    Michael Gordon
Anthony Don, Konrad Hurrell, Dale Copley, Brendan Elliot
    Kane Elgey, Ash Taylor
Jarrod Wallace, Nathan Peats, Leilani Latu
Ryan James, Bryce Catrwright, Kevin Proctor

    Mitch Rein/Karl Lawton
    Jai Arrow

    And two of:
    Keegan Hipgrave
    Max King
    Morgan Boyle
    Jack Stockwell
    Will Matthews
    Ryan Simpkins
    Joe Greenwood
    Jai Whitbread

@User Name think that is close to the mark for Titans.

Latu does seem to the most promising of the FRF cheapies, and I'm leaning towards a Lodge/Latu pairing as well.

I had the same problem and went Teddy off the back of his trial game. Also, it seems the Eels seem to be leaning toward a 4 man bench, middle forward heavy. Looks like Taka has sewn up the edge forward with Ma'u and both are big minute players.
