Its a risk, but if Farah is out of the 17 in week 1, it is a risk I am probably willing to take.

I think my burns run deep, i brought in Farah mid season last year and can feel the tingle still to this day.

Away at present so missed most of the discussion in here? Has Taga been confirmed as startling 2RF this year?

assuming you mean takarangi. and he got named to start for the upcoming trial with a 4 man big bench with moeroa left out of the team, brown at 13 and mau at 11.

    14. Beau Scott
    15. Kenny Edwards
    16. Kane Evans
    17. Suaia Matagi

not sure how the minutes will play out with mau capable of 80. edwards also averaged 61 mins last year.

maybe brown spells king at hooker. tough to read but you would imagine decent mins for taka 50-60 at least. also the forum has gone cold on milne for now who seems on the outer

Thanks for the run down mate, my worry with Taga would be dropping out of the team completely if they start slow! Could end up being like that ginger berk the sea eagles started in the 2RF a few years back

Starting CTR at the moment, but I think they have injuries..

Also talk about him heading to the Titans at one point, that died down though.

What do people think of Whare at his price if this is their backline? $287 surely means he can make some money? Has DPP. Not going to loose money if it doesn't work out.

I love Dufty and it has been so hard not to select him at his price, but if you take away the game he scored a massive 12 TBs in. His average gets bought down to 32 over six games. I would be swapping him out if you can find value elsewhere. As I mentioned with Dan just before, look at getting your set in stone team and guys with question marks out to the side to bring in later once TLT confirms everything. Cook is one of those guys you probably wont pick if Farah is on the bench. Which has a reasonable likelihood of happening. So set your team up based on that happening.

Thanks for the break down on Dufty, I just read that Farah most likely won't be in the 17 so that makes it worth keeping Cook i guess?

Might just keep JBrom and swap out Dufty for Murray so I have a few money making 2rf that should all get some good value out of.

Means I will only have 1 wfb/ctr cover and that is Kennar. (So many rabbit players now).

I don't think Dufty's stats from 2017 should be used as a guide on how he'll go this year. Last year he was told not to run back the football but just to give it to the wingers due to his inexperience & lack of size. He has added a bit of size this year & will get more return metres & this was played out last week where he ran for 200 metres. Also this year they have 2 quality halves added to a massive forward pack & new attacking structures which will bring Dufty into the play more often. Last year he only played 7 games at the back end of the season when the team was out of form whereas this year he's had a full pre season to work on combinations & if the Dragons start anything like they did last year then Dufty should get plenty of opportunities.

I wonder whether the baby will side step & then accelerate it's way out of her womb in classic Marshall wizardry.

He did last year. Peachy only came into the centres when Whare broke his jaw.

Apparently a Russian curler has been stripped of his bronze medal for failing a doping test. It sounds like performance enhancing drugs are rife in curling lol. I always thought those sweepers were on speed.
