Hi all, we are running a cash comp this year.  It is named after R0bDOg who was a long term member of our forums and the Fantasy/DT community.

All details are in the opening post but in short we are at $650 and with the interest shown originally are looking at between $1000 and $2000:

    -$50 buy in
-open to enter (transfer money) till Sunday afternoon the 11th before 7th game kick off
-PayPal transfer (2 options, pick the one that applies to you)
-we will decide how the prizes are split once the Pools totals are known
-you will only see the pool amount that is applicable to you, I will update the combined pools amount (total prize money) ongoing.

    GET.THE.FUCK.IN.THERE!

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/nrl-round-1-teams-2018-broncos-backline-shakeup-concerns-for-cowboys-and-tigers-no1/news-story/82ee8db2f016856e737877198bcb51aa

    Dunno if this has been posted, but this is fox sports team tips;

Dragons mail: Matt Dufty will start at fullback with Tariq Sims to fill the void in the backrow left by Manly recruit Joel Thompson.

Broncos mail: Jamayne Isaako will start on the wing with Jordan Kahu playing centre. The Courier Mail is reporting Sam Thaiday will start at hooker as cover for Andrew McCullough who is returning from an ACL injury.

Knights mail: Mitch Barnett returns from injury to start at lock. Slade Griffin gets the nod as starting hooker with Danny Levi on the bench.

Sea Eagles mail: Lachlan Croker will start in the halves alongside Daly Cherry-Evans. Matt Wright is believed to have the edge on Brad Parker to fill the void for an injured Dylan Walker in the centres. Frank Winterstein lands on the bench with Joel Thompson and Curtis Sironen in the backrow.

Cowboys mail: There are concerns over the health of Lachlan Coote’s hamstring. Ben Hampton will get the nod at fullback if Coote is unable to play. Javid Bowen is expected to replace Kane Linnett (pec).

    Sharks mail: To come.

Tigers mail: Corey Thompson is set for the fullback spot ahead of Tuimoala Lolohea who is struggling with his weight. Esan Marsters has secured a centre spot and is likely to assume goal kicking duties.

Roosters mail: Luke Keary is expected to be named in the starting side to return from a broken jaw. Victor Radley is likely to claim the No.14 position following the departure of Connor Watson. He’s a hooker who can slot into lock or the backrow.

Rabbitohs mail: Damien Cook has won the fight for the No.9 jersey. Richie Kennar has secured a place on the wing to make his first NRL appearance in over 12 months.

Warriors mail: New Warriors recruit Karl Lawton is set to be thrust into the thick of things less than a week after joining his new team. He’ll be in the 17 due to a season-ending injury to Nathaniel Roache.

    Bulldogs mail: To come.

    Storm mail: To come.

Panthers mail: James Maloney confirmed Nathan Cleary will be the goal-kicker for the Panthers. “Nath will do that,” Maloney said. “He kicks the ball well. I’ve got no issue. I’m not going to fight over it. It’s something he likes doing.”

Eels mail: Bevan French will start the season at fullback with Jarryd Hayne and Michael Jennings the centres. Kirisome Auva’a and Josh Hoffman are the likely wingers. Brad Takairangi is expected to be on the bench with Tepai Moeroa and Manu Ma’u the likely backrow starters.

Titans mail: Anthony Don is expected to be named pending a fitness test on his shoulder. Jai Arrow has earned the right to start in the front row with Ryan James on an edge.

Raiders mail: Siliva Havili is favourite to secure the role of hooker.

Looks like Taka might not be a decent option after all. If Arrow gets DPP I will put him in the front row.

    Barnett back to lock also.

It was me (possibly others too)

Specifically, it was Dalker instead Dylan Walker that was driving me nuts.

Arrow would be a similar size to Wallace as they are same height 6’2.
Playing weight Wallace would have a few kegs on him but perhaps the Titans will play up tempo.
Don’t see that as a hugely bad thing starting prop, 40 minutes and he still makes money

Yep I'm fine with it for distinguishing people with same surname eg Dalker/Calker, and Surgess/Gurgess/Turgess etc. Just annoying when I search for it in the player pool and comes up empty!

Until I Wiki'd him I didn't remember him as being that big, but decent size.

If he does snag the DPP tomorrow, than I trust him securing a spot over Latu I think.

Remember Wallace last year, almost the same example as Arrow this year. Going to hedge my bets with a few players like this, they shouldn’t lose money and if a better cow comes along then can pick one to downgrade.

The team I threw together before for fun is actually growing on me haha
    It is moneyball after all
