My tradewhorism would suggest it is, but no - never.

It’s more likely a backrower, first prop or Ponga downgrade to do it

Strangely/funnily enough not a Croker fan in fantasy terms but Hiku definitely serviceable second centre

It all depends on that easy draft and Crokers past averages against them.

Just my like the raiders start will be a dumpster fire.

Could always grab Cotric/Mitchell for the DPP

Turgess has looked the one pre-season.

Speaking of which E Marsters is not being mentioned. He’s a huge shout for anyone looking for at least one 500k+ centre even though Tigers could be dire. Definitely prefer him over Smat and Maubbs in the 2RF/CTR collection

If you are picking Croker as a pick and stick centre, then the order of his draw is irrevelant

What are you expecting from Gurgess?

That is true, but it sure does help mentally for me anyway.

Having the same dilemma. I'm thinking of pulling trigger and going double CTR gun. I'm thinking that having a Kennar/Milne type is too big a risk.

Just typed the most convoluted and in depth analysis of how I see the scenarios playing out and why I think Gun/gun CTR is the safe long term option.

My incoherent ramblings would have probably ruined peoples mornings. But essentially, I think the negatives of running a strong CTR with a weaker forward pack are less shit, than the negatives of running a weak CTR and strong forward pack.

Hes more of a placeholder atm. Looking at a FRF around that price but dot know who to grab. If Arrow got DPP that would be nice.

So... who are the best two centres in fantasy? Contenders Roberts, Gagai, Scott, Dugan, maybe Inglis, Latrell or Aubs?

Ive got Mitchell locked in but if i cant find a cheap ctr then id consider hayne, bj or inglis as my other ctr.

Rather than sacrificing a gun forward i could downgrade Teddy to Dufty. Its a shame the Roosters have such a good draw to start with, makes that decision so much harder!

I haven't read a lot of the pages, but all this talk of spending large on two centres is a pi$s take right?

Spending very little cash in the centres has always been a tried and true strategy to spend cash where there is more consistency.

Unless you're going aitken BJ or something I'd be hard pressed to not go cheapie gun or even cheapie cheapie.

TLT definitely plays mind games on you.

Out of absolutely nowhere I’m sitting here looking closely into javid bowen and esarn Marsters

    Pre team list Tuesday team:

    Smith
    Fifita Lodge
    Merrin Whitehead Arrow
    CWalker Cartwright
    Mitchell Kennar
    Teddy Ponga Katoa

Cook Lichaa Nicholls + 5 NPR's. Probably Leilua, Thompson, Doueihi, Milne and 1 other. Think LCroker is a big trap personally. Tanginoa or Kikau could surprise. Havilli could be in contention.

Struggling with value or round 13 players I am leaving out - Sriffin, AFB, TPJ, NAS, Alvaro, JBrom, RRochow, RFM, Murray, NBrown.

Would Murray + Rochow be a better option than Merrin + NPR?

Are people really taking rd 13 into considering now when selecting a starting team? Too many variables between now and then that can happen.

As a professional sports fan and keen procrastinator, I'm just going to go off on a tangent for a moment and discuss how I'd use the Titans pack.

Start with Latu & Wallace (king in rnd 1) props, Arrow lock (James & Proctor set and forget on the edges).

The big fellas soak up the first 20 then Latu subs off first, with Cartwright coming on. At this point Arrow shifts into the "prop" role and Cartwright lock, who plays out the game. Arrow eventually gets subbed around 33 min mark and returns after 55.

Depends on what value you put on a trade. Not since Mannering/Ben Smith have I had a centre pairing that I wasn’t chopping and changing. I find it a costly position unless you just happily swallow combined 30pts total from the pair of them each week.

I do like BJ for value and do like his transferability to Bird when fit if BJ is being a lazy prick
