TTurbo is a lock. Will either be on the wing or fullback depending on team make up.

Cook is a lock aswell. I expect he will be at 14 with a tackle machine that has good direction starting at 9. Wallace, McInnes, Griffin the options I see here.

JDB is a strong chance. There are ~7 middles to fit into 6 spots depending on bench make up. JDB Vaughan Klemmer Woods JTurbo Frizell RCG will be playing for 6 spots(assuming Cordner and Graham on the edge and not carrying an edge back row). If they want another edge option off the bench Frizell might fill that role leaving 5 spots for the other 6 to fill.

Arrow is probably one year away. If QLD go down 2-0 he might get blooded for game 3 but I think he needs to prove himself a bit longer

    Thanks mate, very helpful!

Thompson's 40 avg is pretty underwhelming from I what I've seen - he is closed to peaked for mine.

Last two weeks he would not even have made his b/e if not for picking up tries and he scored 27 the week before without one. These were against the Eels, Knights and Sea Eagles.

Does Watson have better base stats? And does he have the opportunity now to make those wihtout Pearce?
Edit: saw Wt more or less answered this above.

Yeah been hoping for more from Thompson the last few weeks, but at least he's finding the try line and his 40 average is passable for a WFB at this stage.

45 is generally considered a keeper for WFB, but there's only 4 players, or 5 taking Mbye's -1 away that are averaging 45+ at WFB.

Base stats for Watson I'd say 25-26 tackles, metres gained averages as 82 across the 3 full games, but 110m last start without Pearce, so maybe bump it up some.

Attacking stats are there, so an output in the 40's looks safe, but then the -12 from MTs, errors and penalties looks like a struggle to average 40 unless he can cut those out.

Forgot to add only 20 kick metres without Pearce and 8m in one game previous, so maybe a point or two there..

Anyone else enthused by C.Scott as a trade for Josh 'Broken' Dugan?

Priced at 28, same BE, and you'd expect a end of season average 7-10 points higher (100-150k) - which seems more likely now that the Storm have got their attacking act together.

May play Origin. But looks the goods.

Watson's probably not a bad trade-in for someone though. Even if his negatives cancel out his attacking stats, he looks alright to average 35+ and make 130k+.

Plays Rd 13 like Thompson, so both seem like they could be held until then and upgraded to Rd 17 players after.

I think RCG and JTrbo are certs. That would leave three places for Woods, Klemmer, JDB, Vaughan, and I'd add Ryan James's name as a possible too.

Also with Dugan out for 4-6 weeks what is more likely

    a) Moylan to FB and Hodkinson to Hlf
    b) Holmes to FB and Feki/Katoa to Wing

With the 50/50 chance of Katoa being named this week I only plan to make one trade and that is Gosi out. Now depending on TLT I think TMM could be a good pickup if Morgo named FB. Watson probably has greater safety than Cogger so Watson is a good prospect. Hastings surely has the spot in the team now. Even if Haas can get 30 minutes his ppm could push him to 30 point avg.

Interesting, that makes JMK quite appealing. The kid seemed to be able to tackle and this presumably means they are keen for a running/playmaking hooker right?

If JMK's at hooker.. suddenly have to decide whether to play him or Su'a in the 17. At least I'll have a decent back-up again if Brown's not back.

Hahaha @SI, I'm travelling ok at the moment. Still got some ground to make. This week will be a bit tough with a few key outs but hopefully I can push on a bit more.

hehe, so interesting the rumours going around. One minute JMK is out, the next he is playing hooker. Cant wait for team lists!
