Rugby League is a professional sport and a business and idea of 'loyalty' is something the clubs can and will use against the players.
Not saying DCE doesn't sound like he acted like a bit of a dick but you can see why he did it if he did.
Watmough dragging it up six years later just sounds bitter.

Is it nuts going double downgrade?
Something like - Soro and Martin out for Mann and Fainu?

Depends what you want from them and what the rest of your squad looks like.
Those are two players I wouldn't expect to be playing in the final few rounds so they are cash outs.
Could make you $300-$400k for upgrades elsewhere though.
Definitely not crazy if they are part of a plan.

If you won't be spending the cash until post R17, there is no hurry to downgrade Martin just yet.
If he does take the field he'll make cash (and every chance he is playable in your 17 too)
I'd only trade Martin out if you needed the cash right now, or if you are upgrading him to a final team player

Guys to bring in, SJ, McInnes, Harris, Finau.
Option A: Watson, Surgess, Walker, Murray. Means I keep Kikau and Martin and play Fonua at WFB
Option B: Watson, Murray, Kikau, Martin.
Thoughts or too vague?

I'm a Kiwi so don't understand the Northern Beaches hate but fuck Manly hahaha They've screwed the Warriors in finals at least twice and stopped us getting to finals a year or two back when they were playing trash lol

Trade ins look nice and dangerous.
I'd be leaning towards B I think. More because if this was my team I'd be trading Murray and Martin ahead of Surgess. Dunno, gut call really

"BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett has put a rocket up Tevita Pangai Jr, telling the front-row firebrand to pull his head in over arrogant on-field antics."
He is not going to come into the starting line up anytime soon. He is a sell for a gun even though TPJ plays Rnd 17

I saw him on Sunday, there were a few time when some Storm players would give him a nudge or whatever after the play and he would deliberately go out looking for them for a fight like a softy! He also loves a bit of banter after a tackle and some times goes way overboard. I think if he can humble up and smarten up he will become an all time great. Too cocky and too arrogantsajjos wrote:"BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett has put a rocket up Tevita Pangai Jr, telling the front-row firebrand to pull his head in over arrogant on-field antics."

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 53
Whats thoughts on Jfh?
I wanted to trade Harris, Taupau, SJ, and Fainu in this week.. I can do it by trading out Gosi and keeping JFH leaving me with 158k, which possibly ends up costing me another trade to get cash for upgrades.. or i can just leave gosi where he is and trade JFH (BE55) and have $394k..
Im playing h2h (including byes) and could really use the extra points from him in round 17
But think he will lose allot of cash, last 2 weeks have been rough for him..
Thoughts appreciated
Ps. 7 trades left if i make these 4, pretty much set, maybe 2 more upgrades then 5 there for injuries

Anyone got any thoughts on James.
Was thinking of swapping Fitzgibbon with him but could be sideways move?
Give me one for Rnd 17 which is a plus.

Welcome
JFH is a sell in my opinion. Harris/SJ trade in will give more points than JFH anyway.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 53
I haven't posted for a little while, I've being tearing my hair out trying to figure out what to do next. I'm going to put it down here for my own benefit, but feel free to critique the shit out of it.
Trades:
Koro -> SJ
Murray -> Harris
Gosi -> Fainu
JFH -> RFM
6 trades 182k. Gives me for this week:
Smith
Fifita Kapow
Lolo Brown Harris
SJ Milf
Mitchell Tuala
Ted Ponga Fonua
Surgess, RFM, ARey, Friend
Lane, TMM, Fainu, Brimson
I'm least convinced by the last trade, but its likely I'm not going to be able to afford McInnes or Jurbo. I think JFH's best days are done for now with the minutes on offer and RFM should be good for 80 every week and the dogs have a reasonable draw from now on, and an easier draw for the Dragons may mean less tackles for McInnes anyway (*clutching!)
Final trades would be:
Lane -> cashout by round 17
ARey -> RTS by round 17
Brimson -> Cook round 18
Final team
Cook
Fifita Kapow
Lolo Brown Harris
SJ Milford
Mitchell Fonua
Ted Ponga RTS
Smith Surgess RFM Friend
TMM Fainu Tuala Looper
3 trades and about 100k. If TMM or Tuala kick on that 100k might eventually get me a decent 18th man or help me afford an injury upgrade if required.
I think it's the best I can do with the money and the trades but open to suggestions. Thoughts? Thanks.
