You need to find some WFB/CTR cover. I'd probably look at that before sideways trading guns.

I can tell you from very recent experience a drop by that amount is very achievable

Haha I just assumed my ranking would hold in the 40-60 range from now.
Not sure where I got that idea from.

I have neither and am saving my 4 trades for injuries-I have 500k but want to play the different strategy and stick with current team. That is the only way I can make up ground.
I personally am nervous about JArrow in my VSDT team, I reckon I'd go Jurbo.
It's to upgrade Su'a so I'll need to pick a forward.
How's ya trousers?
Yep, Jurbo over Jarrow personally.
My Trousers are coming back up after being around my ankles a month ago. My VSDT Trousers scored second for the Round, so a little chuffed with that even if they are 160th or something Overall.

A dual position ctr/wfb or just a centre cover? Cotric can cover WFB.

Needing to grab a cheap(ish) FRF/2RF for Su'a. Acts as both a partial cash out, positional coverage so I don't cop a 0(again) due to all the HLF and HOK on my bench and 19th man for the run home. Has come down to Fensom or Hipgrave. Think I will go with Fensom purely because he can score in bunches if Taumalolo ever gets injured and he gets the lock spot

Cotric would be in your 13 wouldn't he?
Ideally you'd need someone from 14-21 that is dual WFB/CTR like Holland to cover those 5 should one get injured/suspended for a game or two or you'll get a 0

Looks like I will be playing Isaako for at least another week due to lack of trades. Only alternative is give up on Ponga and go Hetherington to Hoppa

I'm interested in seeing if Green does blood any new guys coming in. Could be a 30 point benchie at basement price by some miracle. Not sure how much Fensom is but be wary of McLean and Scott if they ever return.
Haven't looked at prices but Niukore, Fotuiakia?

Main danger is if you captain a guy who gets injured early, get a single figure score, and they captain someone who goes for 80+. That can put a large chunk in the deficit.
Flukes like Fainu help, but you need to come up with one nearly every week if you are clawing back 200 points.
True. I don't see myself steering away from Smith, possibly Cook. Usually the players teams have below me that would be worth captaining I have also so shouldn't lose too much. More like if they go for a wildcard caption option to try and crawl back some points.

3 Round average of 42 with no tries prior to this weeks disappointment. Broncs got pumped and he had a shit tonne of negatives and only one goal. Would love a more reliable scorer but at this end of the season trades are too tight to use on a non injured Centre in my opinion.

EDIT: re read your post, are you playing him in WFB to cover Ponga? If so, definitely cop the hit if he has another dud game instead of using a trade. Unless Hopper would be completing your team? How many trades?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 60
Any suggestions lads? I've slipped a bit down the ranks the last couple of weeks which is frustrating so I'm getting an itchy finger to sideways trade;
Smith
Fifita Taupau
Martin Tolo Crichton
SJ ARey
Aitken Marsters
Teddy MBye Mitchell
Cook Arrow Farah JFH
Ponga Lewis Mann Holland
I have 6 trades and 96K. Thinking about SJ, MBye, Marsters but I should keep the faith. I either;
JFH - Surgess/Kikau
or
Lewis - Nuffie
JFH - JTurbo
Second option would mean I have a great 17 but shithouse EMG's. Any one of the backs would become 18th man when Ponga returns. Don't know if it's worth keeping Lewis as that decent backup and punt on Surgess or Kikau or go all out and get Turbo. Was thinking even downgrading SJ to a Nofo/Hayne via MBye to get the funds for JTurbo, but that's probably a bit silly just to keep Lewis around.
Cheers.
