I reckon he's a good shout with Sua out for the season. Obviously dependant on him staying fit..

Nothing official to go on - but I don't expect any late switch for TPJ this week. We don't really have anyone else that would step into the back row. And they will need TPJ there to handle Kikau

Who will be kicking goals for the Raiders now that both Croker and Sezer are out?

    Bump

Tossing up whether to bring in jturbo this week or hold. 4 trades left and $137k spending money.

    Rank 31.

    Cook
    Arrow Fifita
    Taupau Lolo Martin
    Arey SJ
    Cotric Mitchell
    Teddy RTS Gutherson

    Smith Farah McInnes James

    Lewis Isaako Katoa Doueihi

Probably safer to just hold the trade and wait for the inevitable injury/suspension, right?

Yeah your right. Plus I just had a closer look to see if going Fifita to Jturbo would let me do Gutho to Ponga in one trade but it doesn't. I think getting Ponga back when fit has to be my main focus.

I just really want Jturbo for the run home haha.

If you wanted him that bad I'd trade him in for James.

Im gonna have a look at Lewis' score this week.

But if he goes well I'll have to leave Kikau out. Or bring Kikau in for Martin/Fifita/LoLo/Surgess/Arrow

I don't like this one bit

James and Holland>Farah and Jayne 2 trades left 149k

Ponga and Aekin NPR so get look at Lewis>SJ>Naiqama for 17th score

Really sucks to sell James instead of SJ last week to Farah +130k lost but now I can't bring myself to lose that SJ money and hope he comes right

I was cruising 3-4 weeks ago, with trades up my sleeve and a team I was happy to plod home with then the following happened:

Fonua (was going to be used as cover for run home), injured
    Harris (top 17), injured.
Tapine (was going to be my 18t/19th man) Suspended
    Ponga (top 17), injured
    Croker (top 17), Injured
Hiku (used as cover for cover in place of Fonua), Shithouse

Also a little off topic, but Korbin Sims has signed with the Dragons. Should be good news for the retention of the other young forwards coming through.

    Thank fucking god.

Hey Lads, im starting to have some doubt towards my trades this week. Any chance one of you gents or ladies (if there are any) could give me some reassurance or maybe another view/idea. I have gone Fifita > Taupau and Sua > Kikau with 5 trades now remaining and 69K. My team would come into RD19 like this:

    Smith
    Arrow Taupau
    Jurbo Chrichton Tolo
    SJ DCE
    C.Scott Ramien
    Turbo Cotric Mitchell

    Cook McInnis Martin Kikau
    Ponga Fainu Lewis Brimson

Of course Ponga would go in for Mitchell who would replace C.Scott.

Kikau will give me that FRF/2RF depth I was lacking last week when Arrow was out and he is absolutely killing it right now or I am also tempted to get TPJ back in, plus I honestly can’t see Fifita going back to being the 60 point FRF he was earlier in the season, too much forward rotation going on whereas Taupau is the DOMINANT FRF for his club and is more often than not relied upon for those massive metres up the gut. Next round I am hoping for Ponga to return and then I am looking at getting in one more 40-50 point scorer in my EMG, my thoughts so far are C.Scott to possibly Crofty if he scores 40+ this week but this will require me to downgrade Lewis to a base price player and I am perfectly happy to keep Brimson for some WFB cover and Cotric for CTR cover. Then I will wait for Koro to return and upgrade Fainu to a decent scoring 19th man. Thoughts on my thoughts?

I think most Bronco fans would be happy about it, we needed to get rid of the deadwood (Sims and Thaiday) to keep our young gun forwards.

I think Fifi to Taupau is very sideways but if you have doubts over Fifi and would rather Taupau then go for it.

The Sua to Kikau trade is great and looking at Kikau myself as a cut price keeper.

I wouldn't worry about getting TPJ back and I wouldn't stress on wasting trades on 18th and 19th men too much if you have trades in hand.

Does Kikau get subbed for Peachey to come on? I saw on DT they were worried about it.

When Peachy was benched last year he use to come on at lock. Dont see Kikau coming off for Peachy. Peachy on the outer anyway, he might be strictly as a utility for injuries or if they need to score some points quickly.
