In a bit of a pickle myself right now

My team is:

Cook
Kikau / Fifita
Crichton / Tolo / Martin
Milf / DCE
Aitken / Isaako
Cotric / RTS / Teddy

Smith / Farah / Arrow / SJ

Niukore / Gutho / Brimson / Holland

With 270k in the bank and 3 trades.

First option is to trade Gutho up to Surgess and leave SJ as 18th man (or DCE/Milf whoever under performs)

Second option is to hold my dollar bills and either upgrade Isaako or another back to Ponga when he returns and just not have a solid 18th man or any real FRF depth.

I could also make the first trade and then just hopefully upgrade SJ or a WFB or whoever with the 130k odd left over when Ponga returns. I have a gut feeling Ponga's return will be continuously delayed.

Really unsure what to do, right now I'm just keen to hold my rank (around 500).

personally i'd just hold trades a week, and get Ponga for Isaako next week.

With limited trades, I don't see the point in worrying about an 18th man at the moment.

If you bench SJ he's bound to get an 80. Actually, do you mind doing it?

EDIT: Niukore is currently doing well and still has that starting spot this week, he is looking like a reasonable back up for the moment.

TPJ is getting injections for his hammy, is hoping to test it out today, and has captains run tomorrow to see if it’s good to go.

Yeah he seems to put out quite a bit in base stats. I'll sit on my trades for now. Thanks for the advice!

Wow considering they havent wrapped up TPJ and he is asking 600k. I can see 2-3 years of injuries for Haas, his body is so big and still growing all while trying to play a contact sport.
