2019 VSDT NRL

Got Barry in the eliminator. His team is called Cook Islands and I think Barry trades baked. Sivo is the only player we have in common, he's captaining Niko which should be his highest scorer because everyone else starts from the bench. Thant's a bit harsh he has CNK as well.

I can't fathom how he got through last week

Am I only one who got a serious player in the Eliminator? Maybe its because of my relatively low ranking.

Shit I didn't even check my Eliminator this week

Yeah I've got a serious team too. Had a few weird picks in their 17 but then I saw all the "proper" players still on the bench from last week

yeah I went bad last week and thus cop a serious player this week also.
Comes down to having six different players.
Tohu, Munster, Ponga, Edwards, Angus and CS9 for me V their CNK, Pearce, JF-Harris, Sivo, McIness and Jake Turbo.
Think I'm in trouble without 100 from Ponga.

On projections I should get through my Eliminator by 200 but stranger things have happened so who knows. I do much better on here than Fantasy but that only because a lot less people play it. Got to 5th overall atm. At least I didn't bring in Lomax this week on this one like I did on Fantasy lol so will be doing my other planned trade instead. I am definitely a trade aholic every year and like to ride home with luck and no trades left after the byes and just have a good balanced team with duels to cover injuries. Some years it works some it doesn't.

I’ve been unlucky with the HIA. Had Gutho HIA last week and Xerri sitting on bench. Decided to play Xerri this week and he gets HIA.

Also will need a miracle to win my eliminator.

Him: 158 + CWalker + Hughes + McInnes + Jurbo + Turbo

Me: Smith (c) + Ponga + Munster + Too + Milf

I have never had Xerri so he is one rookie that got away from me but if I did have him I would of had him on the pine missing those times he went big. A fit Bateman and Nikora is so easy this year as centres filling those 2 playing spots. 80 minute 2nd row players in the centres are sure gold. Ma'u a handy back up yet again this year as well. Is nice not having to rely on tries/play Russian roulette with a real centre to score well in the centre position.
I've had Gutho in past years and was tempted to get him this year again for the bye round 12 but luckily held off. Would of hurt that HIA. Then double hurt with the Xerri one this week for anyone playing him. Dearden would of hurt too for anyone that had him. Is so much fun yet so frustrating at the same time playing this game.
Good luck you never know might get a miricle. Do look a player score short in that match up but things can turn so easily playing this game.

My elim opponent had CNK and Xerri. It looked very close otherwise. Lucky!

I subbed Tedesco out for To'o on this with 20 seconds left before lockout. Was so close to getting a 12 as the AE. So I am very happy with the 53 instead. Be quite a few getting stung with an AE for Tedesco I could imagine.

Got knocked out 1st rnd of eliminator don't have much drive left for this comp never know I might get a weekly
Currently 705/13 what seems to be ok for this week need a big one from captain turbo

Update on my eliminator:

Him: McInnes + Jurbo +Turbo

Me: 75

I’m gone unless his guys have an absolute stinker. However, we both have Teddy and unless he has a trade he’ll get Xerri’s 6 AE points. I’m going to go with a Hail Mary play and trade out Teddy for Norman. Also helps that Teddy misses this round and R16 whereas Norman plays both.

Currently have a 169 point lead with my J Turbo vs his Mitchell and D Walker the differences remaining. I should be through to the next round.

1028 with tolman to go surely have to be close to the weekly with so many duds this week

Update. L Mitchell can't score more than 178 for me to win my eliminator so hope he is not on song today to impress selectors for Origin.
